Rules and Instructions
1) One entry per person
2) Picks must be in by Friday, August 27th, 11:00 PM EST
3) 1 pt awarded to the correct winner. No point is awarded for correct finish. You may write it next to the pick for fun but it will not count towards your final score.
4) Must be submitted in the order below.
5) If there is a tie, the winner will be determined by answering three tie breaker questions. The tie-breaking questions are optional.

If Pride is king when it comes to mismatches then what does that make the UFC? I can't believe your saying this with a straight face considering the UFC fights we have seen recently. No wonder you get the label UFC-nuthugger.

Anyone who thinks the UFC makes lots of mismatches should get their head checked out. If you thought so then I suggest you bet some big money because the lines are often very close. How is it that the betting community thinks all the UFC fights are competitive yet some internet fans claim to know different?

Name me 3 fights in the last year in the UFC that were obvious mismatches.

PRIDE Bushido 7 was a fantastic event, but other than Gomi/Azeredo and Yves/Mishima the whole card was full of mismatches. Tank vs Yoshida, Sakuraba vs Dong Sik, Gomi vs Jean Silva, every single Giant Silva, Sentoryo, LA Giant fight etc....I could go on forever.

Bushido 7 had more competitive matches than Gomi/Azeredo and Yves/Mishima. Maeda/Bennett was an upset victory for Bennett, Gono/Gracie was very competitive, and most people thought that Baroni/Minowa would be an easy victory for Minowa, but it turned out to be a very competitive match.

As for 3 fights in the last year that were obvious mismatches in the UFC, let's see.

Karo Parysian vs. Matt Serra
Andrei Arlovski vs. Justin Eilers
Forrest Griffin vs. Bill Mahood
Diego Sanchez vs. Brian Gassaway
Randy Couture vs. MVA
Nate Quarry vs. Shonie Carter
