Question about nutrition labels...

Im just curious. It's a dumb question, but the label on the back of the box, or on a carton of milk..They go by amount per serving right? Not by the whole product. I hope someone gets what Im trying to say :redface:

it goes per serving, an actual box of whatever meal might have several servings.

But some products call everything packaged 1 serving. You gotta check the serving size and amount of servings per package. The calories are PER SERVING.

I'm counting all input/output calories, etc now...sucks. Always means less ice cream.

The servings are usually about 1/2 to 1/3 what people actually eat in a serving. Seriously, does anyone eat half a cup of cereal?
