Anyone have any experiance with this method? I was looking into trying it out, but I do have some doubts. I know Frank Shamrock lives by this diet, and he seems to always be in great shape.

I'm not familiar with it.
I don't care for diets. I've looked at some in the past and even started one that was in the book "Fit For Life".
For the past several years I've been basically eating the same stuff that I grew up on, meat, potatoes, pasta, rice, veggies, fruit, etc. But it's the real stuff.
I pay attention to what and how much I eat because I compete in distance running at a local level. Not much junk food on my menu (junk food as in "fast food", "frozen food", "instant food", etc.). On the other hand, I read Bill Rodgers autobiography and it sounds like he ate whatever he wanted, including donuts! Running 100 plus miles per week must allow you to do that...
Getting off topic, just remember, "looking fit" and "feeling fit" can be miles apart. I see women at work who look "fit" or "hot", but then you find out that they are half starving themselves in the process. Probably couldn't run a city block without passing out. Likewise, whenever I see a buff looking dude, I instantly wonder if their physique is natural? Seems like every gym rat I know is at least using creatine. How healthy is that?

It's a proven fact, certain blood types respond better to certain foods..
It makes a difference in mood, appearance/healthy skin, energy levels and other things i'm sure i'm un-aware of..
Yes it is true and something worth looking into if your serious.
