I watched it without audio (don't know if there is audio on the tape). No doubt the Gracie's had the edge on the ground. I learned a few tricks for getting jujigatame.

On the otherhand, their standup wasn't too hot. It seemed they only had one throw (Ouchi gari), and their footsweeps were horrible. If anything, I think that they survived for a while up top because the judokas knew the Gracie's would be superior on the mat.

But then that's to be expected I suppose. Overall a good video for studying ways to get jujigatame. Also the judo sensei put on a great uchimata clinic. :cool:

The judo sensei was Hayward Nishioka. It looks like he had really no idea who the Gracies were and it was just a friendly session.
