Daisuke Nakamura vs Seichi Ikemoto
Round 1:
Ikemoto goes for a kick and Nakamura catches it. Ikemoto takes Nak's back with Nak going futilely for the Sakuraba kimura. Nak reversesn position and slams Ike to the mat.
Nak mounts Ikemoto and Ike reverses position and now is on top. Ike mounts Nak and Nak turns his back.

Both back up and Nak with the taken. Armbar attempt by Nak and Ike escapes out of it. Ikemoto on top now with Nak going for the kimura. Nak reverses Ike and takes top position. A ton of crazy ground work in this one. Nakamura gets another armbar on Ikemoto and Seichi has to tap out.

Naoki Matsu****a vs Hiroyuki Abe
Round 1:
Both throw strikes and tangle up in the clinch. Abe with the underhooks. Not much happening here and the ref breaks them up. Nice kicks by MAt, one to the leg and one to the body. Lazy jabs by Abe hitting air. Nice 1-2 by Mat and they're back in the clinch. Matsu****a works Abe to the ground and now in half guard.
Abe gets it back to full guard and the ref restarts them in the middle. A couple of week lefts from the top by Mat. Abe seems content to just hold on and wait for a stand up. Mat stands up and is now in the Sakuraba/Gracie position. A few kicks to the leg before the ref stands them back up again. Nice right by Abe countered with a 1-2 by Mat. Both guys only throwing isolated shots with neither attempting any combinations. Mat throws a high kick followed by a left straight(neither landing) to end round 1.
Matsu****a takes that round by a narrow margin.

Round 2:
Mat with a looping right and Abe attempts a failed spinning backfist. Nice combination by Mat and pushes Abe into the corner. Abe breaks away and both are in the center again. Nice right by Mat. Accidental low blow by Mat which causes a brief interruption. Not much action at all in this one. Abe throws a 1-2, countered with some punches by Mat. Matsu****a seems to be the crisper striker of the two. Both guys throw jabs and miss. Simultaneous low kicks by both fighters. 1-2 by Matu****a and a high kick. Solid right hand by Matsu****a snapping Abe's head back. More of the same to end the round and the fight.
Likely a decision victory for Naki Matsu****a.

Hioki coming out to some pretty soft Japanese technopop. He takes a moment before he enters the ring, then yells something and goes in. Daisuke "Amazon" Sugie is in his corner.
Round 1:
Hioki has a big height advantage. Curran is circling around Hioki, fakes a shot. Nice lowkick by Hioki, Curran almost catches it. Overhand by Curran, nother snappy lowkick and another by Hioki. Curran reaches with a jab that doesnt hit. Lowkick by Curran. Nice right through the guard by Hioki, Curran counters, lowkicks by Hioki. Left hook by Curran, he fires an overhand right and clinches. Hioki takes Curran down, Jeff quickly establishes guard, gets heels on hips and pushes him away and to his feet.

Lowkick by Hioki. Curran tries to kick high, misses. Hioki tries a high teep that misses. Overhand right by Curran narrowly misses. Curran shoots, Hioki wards him off, underhooksn, and gets a knee. They clinch and Hioki takes him down right into mount, very nice. He behins to pound with his right, Curran works into guard, pushes him away, and stands up again. Middle kick by Curran.
Nice high kick and a low kick by Hioki. Nother low kick. He hits Curran with a shovel punch to the chest, and a jab. Curran having a hard time with Hioki's range. Lowkick by Hioki. Nice 1-2 by Hioki with an uppercut-straight, then a jab. They trade rights. Loopsing overhand by Curran misses. Teep by Hioki. Left hook by Currna, nice lowkick by Hioki. Another good one. Curran evades a 3rd. Lowkick by Hioki.
Ouch, HARD lowkick by Hioki, Curran got knocked off balance. They're starting to take their toll. Double jab by Curran, Hioki tries to jab, Curran backs away, Hioki catches him with another low kick. Jab by Hioki. Jeff throws his own good lowkick. Superman punch by Curran connects.
1-2 and a hard hook to the body by Hioki. Nice lowkick hurts Curran again. Curran whiffs an uppercut but connects with a right, rushes in to clinch, Hioki goes down to one knee but gets up. Knee to the thigh by Curran, Curran working for a throw against the corner, Hioki reverses him out and throws him with his upper body, in Curran's half guard now.
Nothing really happening, Hioki tries to pass, Curran works for an armbar but no danger, Hioki stnads up and tries to stomp, Curran grabs his leg and is working for a leglock now, tries an achilles lock but he can't turn it into a heelhook and Hioki gets up.
Nice snappy lowkick by Hioki. Hioki tries an axe kick, Curran takes him down and Hioki gets guard, trying to triangle Curran, Curran soccer kicks him hard. Standing up in Hioki's guard, now he goes down into it, Hioki has it closes up. Curran goes body, body head with punches, stands up again and gets a good left from the guard. Stands up again, drops a couple good right hands, Hioki goes for an armbar, Curran defends by standing on his face. Down into Hioki's guard again with a left. Trying to free his hands, punches Hioki's body and then head. Knees Hioki's side from guard, interesting. Hioki trying to triangle Curran again, Curran lightly stomps him again. Curran tryng to pass, is unable to do so, almost passes at the bell.

Round 2:
They circle for a good 30, Curran shoots a signle and Hioki reverses it, stands up, and kicks at Curran's legs from Inoki-Ali. Curran scrambles up, jab by Hioki. Lowkick by Hioki, left by Curran. Light left hook by Hioki as Curran tries to come in to make something happen. NIce 1-2 and a lowkick by Hioki, finishes with a jab.
1-2 by Curran but kind of sloppy. Nice lowkick by Hioki, Curran finally counters it iwth a good right. Lowkick by Hioki. He stays very busy with them. Nice 1-2 by Curran. Lowkick by Gioki, they trade lowkcikcs. Looks like Hioki might be bleeding a bit above his eye. Left hook in close by Curran, still very light on his feet after all those kicks. Tries to go high with a kick, Hioki dodges. Nice lowkick by Hioki, and another.
Curran shoots a very telegraphed double, clinched with Hioki against the ropes, now has a body lock on Hioki, tries to take him down, Hioki throwing short rights. Knee to the body by Hioki. 30 seconds left as they are clinched in the corner with Hioki throwing light knees to Curran's thigh. They break. Both guys quite tired now, Hioki throwing lazy lowkicks. Bell.
Hioki takes an easy decision.

Aoki vs Black
Round 1:
Aoki with a low kick and Black catches it sending him to the mat. Aoki gets right back up. Aoki rushes in and grabs Black in the clinch. Aoki pulls guard. He pulls his left leg over Blacks head in a weird yoga position and starts pounding Black with strikes. Holy ****, Aoki slaps the triangle on in a blitz. He has the triangle secured, is holding his right leg with his left hand and is pounding on Black with his right.
Black taps and the fight is over just like that.

Round 1:
Left by Obiya, both guys looking to engage, Gil shoots, Obiya wards it off, hard overhand by Obiya and Gil wobbles back a little buty he's okay, reengages Obiya with a left and clinches with a bodylock along the ropes, now hits him with a 1-2, and they clinch briefly and break again. Nice right by Obiya and he shoots again, good exchange there as Gil with a 1-2, Obita countered, and Gil poppped a hard knee to the body. Gil with an excellent workrate, coming in with 1-2s and shooting. Now he grabs a double and slams Obiya down into side control, taking mount here.
Gil with a couple of hard rights on Obiya from mount, now he postures up and goes for more, Obiya bridges and Gil is back to the side, Obiya manages to hook a leg into a half guard. short rights and a good knee by Gil, Obya reeestablishes full guard and Gil stays busy going body, body head with punches with a good workrate, Obiya goes for an armbar, Gil wards it off and is back to Obiya's full guard, trying to push Obya's head down in a crossface and throw punches. Working very well from the guard.

Gil continues to throw chopping right hands from guard, Obiya tries to escape to his feet, now he does, Gil pushes him away and they're back up. Nice short right from Gil. Gil drops Obiya with a straight right, goes down to finish, gets some good punches but Obiya is still with it. Nice stomp, and a knee but Obya is holding on. Gil is working for psoition now, Obiya manages to get full guard. Obiya has weathered the storm, Gil stands up, hits him with a left, nice escape from Obiya, he gets up and Gil sends him down again with a flurry, now he's trying to finish him again, but Obiya's proving a tough bastard. Gets halfguard again and Gil relentlessly hits the body. Obiya looking very demoralizes here as Gil hits him with a right. Obiya trying to stand up here- though I don't know why, because Gil has knocked him down twice. Gil is trying to control his hips and keep him down.
Obiya is trying heels on hips, good teeing off by Gil for a sec as he works to North-South on him. Gil tried a nice stomp there, he's really using Pride rules to his advantage, using stomps at every opportunity. They work to their feet now, Obiya clinching Gil up and tries to haul him down but Gil stays on his knees. They fall through the ropes and hte ref breaks it, standing restart. Jab by Obiya, bodyshot and a short hook by Gil, nice uppercut by Gil, Obiya andswers with a left hook, they're trading, Obiata scoring with lefts, Gil countering with an uppercut, moving forward, and taking Obiya down into half guard, working punches to the body. Gonna restart in the centre. Obiya regains full guard, Gil has slowed down a little bit here, Obiya wants an omoplata but gives that up. Gil works the body-head again. Now dropping flailing hammerfists on Obiya as the bell rings to end Round 1.

Round 2:
They circle. Jab by Gil. Nice straight right by Gil catches Obiya. Nice uppercut-striaght-straight by Gil, knee by Obiya, Obiya grabs a bodylock, Gil trying to ward him off with crossface ala cro cop, Obiya takes him down but only momentarily. Gil's back up and teeing off with uppercuts and short hooks, wobbling Obiya, but he stays up this time, Gil realy taking it to hiim. Takes him down straight into mount but I dunno if Gil has enough gas to pound him out from here. Restarted in the centre, Gil flattens out to wrad off a bridge, Obiya bridges and Gil has his back, rolls to his own back with a body triangle and is working for the RNC. Obiya has wrist control.
Gil content to punch with short ones to the body to distract Obiya, now he commits to the choke again, Obiya grabs his wrist again but he's going howhere fast here. Now they are both on their sides, Obiya manages to get onto his back and establish a very low haflf guard on Melendez' ankle, Gil easily passes that by moving his knee up and breifly gets to the side but Obiya gets guard again. They are back to their feet, both guys hit rights, Obiya shoots, Gil sprawls and chases him with straight punches. Knee to the body by Gil and he takes him down into half guad again. Obiya looks like he wants to die. Gil with short rights, Obiya going for a pretty nice omoplata, moves it into a triangle, Gil just stands up and goes back down into his half guard with a bomb from his right. Bell.

Tremendous fight. Melendez looked impressive and Obiya has the heart of a lion.

Round 1:
Brennan comes in and Kawajiri immediately nails him with a punch combination. Brennan with a left and a high kick. Brennan comes in with a lazy left and Kawajiri crushes him with an overhand right. Huge knee and Brennan is down. Kawajiri pounces and pounds on him until the ref stops the fight.

Round 1:
They both kick low, Ishida with a shot that tumbles them both out of the ropes, they'll restaret standing. Ishida fakes a shot, goes for a left hook, Marcello backs up and hits him with a high kick. Marcello misses a low kick. Ishida rushes forward and misses with a left. Marcello whiffs a hook as Ishida ducks under and double legs into Marcello's full guard. Postures up with a couple of good rights, Marcello goes for a triangle, Ishiada gets out. Nice right bomb from Ishida, Marcello works his hips over for an armbar, looked good but Ishida moves with him and goes back into his fell guard with a couple of good punches. Ishida working well from the guard, looks a lot like the Aurelio fight at this point. Upkick by Mercallo as Ishida gets up and kicks Marcello twice hard. Marcello reverses Ishida into mount as he goes back down, but he can't hold onto it and Ishida reverses him right back ito his full guard. Pounding well with both hands, dropping lots of good rights and now left hammerfists. He tries to pass and ends up in Marcello's half guard. Marcello works back to full easily, Ishida continues to pound well with right bombs and hammerfists.
Ishida working left hammerfists, Marcello works his hips up but nothing there, Ishida stays busy with punches from the guard. Now he's really pouring it on as he passes Marcello's guard and knees his butt a couple times. Marcello works back onto his back and tries for a triangle, Ishida pops out. Looks like they're talking to each other for a second, Marcello trying to strike from the bottom with wild hammerfists Azeredo style. Ishida's workrate has slowed down a little here, but he hits a couple good rights there. He looks kind of tired. Marcello tries a triangle, Ishida evades it and almos passes but Marcello has a solid guard. The ref stands them up. Both guys tentative to engage in the standup. Ref calls for action. No strikes thrown yet. Glancing low kick by Marcello. Ishida circling away from Marcello, highkick by Marcello, Ishida shoots a single and gets it, in Marcello's open guard near the ropes. Bell.
Ishida is a ****ing pitbull.

Round 2:
Right hand by Ishida, shot, and a takedown. Ishida continues to pound Marcello from the guard. Christiano goes for a triangle but Ishida flips him over and keeps pounding the crap out of him. Hammer fists by Ishida and Christiano continues ot remain active. A few rabbit punches from the bottom by Marcello. Armbar attempt comes out of nowhere and he's got it!!
Ishida is flipped on the ground and Marcello has him in a perfect straight armbar! Ishida is still fighting it. Ishida is slowly rolling with the arm. Ishida's arm looks like it's almost bend inwards. He keeps rolling and gets out of it! Ishida continues to use GnP from the top. Marcello goes for another triangle and Ishida flips him over again. Some more big hammer shots from the top by Ishida. Marcello tries to slap on another triangle but to no avail as the bell rings to end the round and the fight.
Easy Unanimous Decision for Ishida. Marcello came damn close with an armbar though.

Round 1:
Azevedo misses a low kick. Mach hits a hard one. Nice middle kick by Azevedo, he shoots a single, Sakurai sprawls on it and throws knees to his head from North-South. He gets a nice knee in a thai clinch as they stand but Azevedo commits to the single, siwtches over to a double, and takes him down. Some short body shots by Azevedo from Sakurai's closed guard. Some short punches by Azevedo, heel kicks from guard by Mach. Azevedo can't really effectively pound him at this point, some short right hands to the body and head. They restart in the centre of the ring. Mach is not doing much in a closed guard, Azevedo with no real effective strikes from guard so far. Mach tries to stand up, Azevedo doesn't let him, passes to half guard and thinks about na arm triangle for a second. He passes his leg over and tries to mount Sakurai but ends up in his guard again. They should stand this up.
Azevedo with a couple more short punches. They stand it up. Both guys are carded for stalling.
Low kick by Mach. he misses an overhand right as Azevedo shoots and Sakurai sprawls on it, Azevedo goes to guard position and gets up again, he shoots again right away and hets kneed as he goes for the single but still has ahold of Mach's leg. Mach manages to break free. Overhand right and a knee by Sakurai, Azevedo has a hold of a single as Mach throws a couple righth ands. Sakurai gets to north-south as he extricates his leg, throws some short punches and stand up. Azevedo kicks at his knee. Ref stands him up.
Sakurai comes in with a right and lands a huge knee to the head. Azevedo shoots for a single but Sakurai stuffs it. There's some blood pouring from a cut from the knee. Ref breaks it for a doctor's check. There's a pretty nasty gash right below the eye. Doctor is forced to stop this one and it's over.

Round 1:
Minowa immediately comes out with a running drop kick that lands flush on Bean's face! Minowa gets up and tries it again but Bean follows him to the ground and is on top. Butterbean doing nothing but trying to smother Minowa on the ground. Minowa slowly slips out and reverses Butterbean. Minowa transitions into side mount. Minowa with a few knees and going for a key lock. Minowa going for an unusual arm on throat choke. Minowa keeps ahold of Bean's left arm and now transitions to a straight armbar. Butterbean trying to fight it off but Minowa secures it and Butterbean has to tap.

Fedor comes to the ring during the intermission. He picks up the mic and introduces himself to the fans. He announces that he will be fighting in Las Vegas against Mark Coleman in PRIDE's first American event and asks for the continued support of the fans.

Round 1:
Kang with a big 1-2. Suloev comes back with a combo and a high kick. Kang with another great right hand through the guard. Suloev runs in and Kang nails him with a flying knee. Right hand, body shot, right hook by Kang all landing. Kang is outclassing Suloev on the feet pretty good right now. Suloev comes in a jab and Kang floors him with a huge right hand.
Kang pounces and is in Suloev's guard. Kang with a bit of pounding. Kang passes the guard and goes into side mount. He passes into mount with no problems. Suloev turns over and Kang has the rear mount. Suloev has blood streaming from his mouth. Kang immediately secures the RNC and Suloev taps out. It's over just like that!

That was complete domination like we've never seen before against Suloev. Kang is the best in the world and is winning this GP; there is no doubt in my mind.

Round 1:
Filho does a weird footwork sequence. Chonan rushes in with punches and Filho immediately takes him to the ground. Filho lays on him for a while before transitioning into side mount and eventually full mount. A few weak punches by Filho from the top but for the most part its his usual LnP. Chonan attempts to reverse Filho and succeeds but Filho pulls out the armbar. Chonan tried to fight it off and rolls over onto his back. Filho has him and Chonan is forced to tap.

Gono vs Mousassi now. Gono comes out with a great new entrance to the same song he used at Bushido 11. This time he had three other dancers with him.

Round 1:
Gono backs into the corner, Mousasi doesn't want to commit to an attack, he kicks high off Gono's gloves. Gono manouvres out of the corner, but back in again. Nice left hook by Gono. Highkick by Mousasi. Gono goes for a right straight. Nice 1-2-3 by Mousasi, he's teeing off hard on Gouno's guard now. Maybe burned a little too much energy there, going for a lot of punches, He takes Gono's back standing and hauls him down. Gono easily reverses him into half guard. Gono passes to the side, knees from the bottom to the head by Mousasi. Mousasi going for a kimura from the bottom but he doesn't have guard so there's nowhere for him to go, Mousasi tries to get to his knees and stand up, now gets Gouno in half guard and still has his arm figure 4. Nothing too much happening here. Gono elbows Mousasi's body from Gegard's half guard, now he passes his guard and takes mount. He takes his back and is working for a choke with hooks in. Backdoor escape by Mousasio and Gono reverses Mousasi's single leg into Mousasi's guard.
Mousasi wants that kimura again, Gono evades it and hits him with a right. They'll restart in the centre. Mousasi punching him from the bottom, Gouno stands up. Nice upkick from Mousasi and they're in his guard again. Nothing much happening here, Mousasi is holding Gouno's wrist and how raises up his guard, Gono gives up his posture . Upkick bt Gouno as he tries to pass, Mousasi tries a triangle but Gono is too slick for him and he passes to the side. Now working for North-South on Mousasi. Gono looking for a topside triangle, he has his taint in Mousasi's face and Gegard doesn't like it. Now he switches over to more tconventional side control. Nothing much happening, Mousasi trying knees from the bottom. Gono takes mount, Mousasi tries to bridge out, Goino works for an armbar in the scramble, now he's trying to extend it from the top, he momentarily does but Mousasi slips out and takes side control on Gone.

Mousasi tries to take his back as he turns over, Gono reverses him into his guard., Mousasi wants a trinagle, Gono explodes out, takes an upkick and winds up in Mousasi's guard.. G Gono is trying to posutre up, Mousasi closes up his guard and holds him, striking with punches from the bottom. Gouno stands up in his guard, tries a flying stomp, uses Mousasi's defensive efforts to get side control. He's kneeing Gono's back from an unorthodox side control. Gono takes mount, punches with a slow temp as the bell goes.

Round 2:
Both guys tentative, niec left hook and a couple uppercuts by Mousasi. Knee to the head by Mousasi, and another. They're clinched up in the corner, knee to the tigh by Gono. Ref breaks them. Left hook and a middle kick by Mousasi, he chases Gono with kicks, and begins to flurry on Gono again but all on his defense and not doing too much damage. Gono's glove is loose, they fix it and back to the action.
Lowkick by Gono checked by Mousasi. 1-2 and an uppercut by Mousasi, he misses with a wild right punch. They clinch in the corner, Mousasi with one underhook kneeing Gono';s misection and trying to bring it up to the head. Ref breaks it. They go in close, Mousasi misses a knee and a left hook, thai clinches and delivers a couple knees to Gono's midsection. Gono hauls him down from his upper body into Mousasi's guard. Mousasi just wants to close his guard up and hold on. Ref turns them around as they were close to the ropes. Mousasi looking for that kimura again, Gouno passses to a weak halfguard then fully out. He takes Mousasi's back and drops a couple right hands, he rolls and grabs an armbar, and Mousasi immediately taps.

That was a pretty good fight. Gono says something that was apparently quite funny as the crowd was cracking up in his post-fight interview.

Round 1:
They circle. Misaki light on his feet moving away from Dan. HIghkick and a lowkcikc by Misaki, Henderson hits him with a punch. THey clinch, bodyshot by Henderson, knee inside by Misaki, Misaki breaks away and Henderson kicks him low as he runs out. owkcik by Misaki, right counter by Henderson. Henderson rushes forward to try and throw more but Misaki gets away from him. Misaki tries an overhand right, nowhere close, light lowkick b Dan. They trade lowkicks and Henderson hits him with a couple of cleen hendo-style rights. Misaki takes him down but Hendo gets right back up and they are clinched up, footstomp by Misaki. Knees to the thigh by Misakin and footstompls. Henderson trying to reach under for a slem, takes him down into side control, gets up and soccer kicks him, gets a middlekick as Misaki gets to his feet. Lowkick by Misaki, he misses an uppercut, nice right hook by Hnederson, he gets an uppercut in the clinch, they are trading sloppy punches that don't really connect. Left lead by Hendo, knee inside by Misaki, they clinch, right hook by Misaki as the y break. Rihgt lead by Henderson. Lowkick by Henderson. Jab by Hendo. Hendo looks much like he did in the first fight, kind of sluggish and not accurate with punches but connecting hard sometimes. Good 1-2 by Misaki. Jab by Henderson.
Hard lowkick by Misaki. Nice uppercut by Misaki, and a left hook ans Henderson comes in to get revenge. Overhand right by Misaki, inside lwkikc and a nice 1-2 by Hendo, chasing him with punches but can't find the mark. Sidekick by Misaki. Both guys being more cautious now, left straight by Dan. Lowkick by Henderson checked by Misaki, bodyshot by Misaki, 2nd punch doesn't conect. Nother bodyshot by Misaki. Middle kick by Henderson. Misaki tries a spinning back kick, Dan jabs him. Nice right hand by Henderson. Low kick by Misaki. Nother good lowkick by Misaki. Misaki goes to the body with a kick, nice upperut by Kazuo. Good body kick by Misaki. Henderson looking tentative. Left straight on Dan's gloves by Misaki. Right hook over top by Misaki. He tries to go to the body with a reaching punch, good lowkick. Dan is hardly doing anything, just circling away. Misaki tries one of his flying knees, doesnt connect. Lowkick by Misaki. Bell.
Round 1 goes to Misaki who is doing a tremendous job.

Lowkick by Misaki. Misaki paws a jab. Nice right and a lowkick by Dan. They trade hooks. Left hook and another by Dan, maybe hurt Misaki a bit but he comes back with a hard low kick. Dan needs to do more if he wants to win. Low kick by Misaki. Henderson responds with one of his own, they trade punches, Misaki tries a spining back kick, low kick by Dan. Couple of low kicks by Misaki. Another good one as Dan comes forward with punches that don't hit. More good lowkicks by Misaki, I think Dan needs a knockout or at least a knockdonw here. Lowkick by Dan as they exchange. Misaki pawning a jab, overhand right by Dan sends Misaki back. Lowkick-ab by Misaki, then a good 1-2. Henderson comes forward with his fists, tags misaki, they clinch. Uppercut by Henderson. Misaki goes for a single, Henderson gets out of it, good left hook by Henderson. Lowkick by Misaki. Henderson goes for a lazy single, Misaki down for an instant, right back up. Henderson looks very tired.
1-2 by Dan. Left by Misaki, Henderson is just whiffing punches all night. Bodyhost by Misaki. Overhand right by Dan, lowkick by Misaki. Jab by Dan. Middle kick by Misaki, left straight by Dan. Lowkick by Misaki. Another one. And another. Bell to end the fight.
Misaki just schooled Dan Henderson. This should be an easy UD for Misaki.

Round 1:
Baron immediately goes for the shot and Gomi stuffs it beautifully. Gomi stalking Baron, lands a nice 1-2. Baron throws a shot and a high kick attempt. Gomi with a huge body shot followed up by a right hook. Beautiful 5-punch combination by Gomi with two of them to the body. Two more rights by Gomi followed by a knee that drops Baron to the ground. Gomi follows into the guard and proceeds to pound.
Gomi with a few punches and stands up, motioning Baron back to the feet. Big body shot by Gomi and a combination on Baron who's covering up against the ropes. Baron turns his back to Gomi and Gomi german suplexes him to the ground. Gomi stands right back up and motions Baron back to the feet.
Another huge body shot by Gomi. About 6 right hands in succession from Gomi. Baron goes for the desperation shot but Gomi sprawls and takes his back. Gomi going for the RNC but Baron defends successfully.

Gomi continues to work for the RNC and he nearly has it but Baron is tough and gets out of it. Baron rolls over to his tomach and Gomi is riding him now. Gomi locks in the choke again and he has it secured! Baron is forced to to tap out to the choke.

Although granted that Baron isn't the toughest opponent, Gomi looked tremendous in that fight. Awesome stand up combos, great TD defense, and nice work on the ground.

That's it folks. Wow, 14 fights in one night. The Japanese dominated this event while the Americans were really taken to the wood shed(besides Melendez).
Kang and Aoki get the "impressive performances of the night" award. Misaki pulled off a huge upset on Hendo tonight leaving the final 4 as Kang, Filho, Gono, and Misaki. Since Gono and Misaki are teammates, expect both of them to be matched up against either Kang or Filho.
