Where would you train if you had the choice of place? Would it be Chute box, Red Devil sports club, the Miletich camp, Takada dojo? Either taht or who would you like to train with given the choice?

I know you are probably going to catch crap from at least one person for asking a question like this but dont worry about it.

Now for the question. If I had the opportunity to train anywhere I wanted it would probably be BTT.

Yea I know for some reason I would get flamed for asking it but I thought it would be fun to talk about.

I would alternate between Shawn Tompkins Academy, Greg Jackson's camp, and Renzo's school.

Either:

Red Devil: because i wouldnt mind living is the mother land and well, why the hell not.
Chute Boxe: great camp, the women are awesome, and I could eat brazilian food every meal for the rest of my life.
Quest: how could you pass up the opportunity to punch Ed Herman and Chris Leben in the face?

ALSO! I'm a 185 lb guy (compete in weightlifting at 85 kg) So training with Lindland and Dan would be perfect for me!

wonder if they draw straws during mirko's sparring sessions?

as for the question....i would probably train at team militech. the chance to nutbag big timmah and punch matt hughes in the face would be wayyyy to alluring.

Chute Boxe. They have produced some of my favorite fighters, and I enjoy the hell out of their style. I also love the way the always yell Heeeeeeeeey Heeeeeeeey, when their in your corner :)

RGA! Woot Woot!

Outside of where I've been :), I'd go to Jackson Submission Hole. I think Greg Jackson brings it together real well.

I too thought this was a good thread...

Would it matter to anyone where you were FIGHTING? With the judging system slightly different between the UFC and Pride, I would be much less likely to say Miletich if I had a Pride fight coming up.

I'd want to train with Rampage just for ****s and giggles, but for real training I think AMC Pancration would be a good place.

I would either meditate and do breathing techniques with Olaf, or ride stationary bikes and wear identical clothing with the Ibaragi Top Team.

When you're done you can spend a few weeks training with me and MINOWA...We can ride go-carts, hit the batting cages, play laser tag, swim in a giant pit of plastic balls, go to the arcade, jump on trampolines, and go bowling.

Sounds good. Maybe we can get someone to sit on Sentoryu's shoulders and attack us with kendo sticks as well.

With all the recent changes like the militage camp falling into obscurity and the loss of Wandy and reported loss of Ninja and Shogun from Chute box, I wanted to bump this thread to the top and see if anyone’s opinion has changed

Extreme Couture, they have wrestling and clinch down to a science and are still fielding guys with good striking to boot an all around great camp. Not great striking but good.

There is only one place where I would train, Red-devil. And for all of you who are wandering why here is a one hour seminar

They seem to be doing great things at Xtreme Couture these days, plus with Tompkins there as well, sounds like a no brainer.

You guys are forgetting American Top Team, that would probably be my choice.

Black House, if I could choose anyplace.

Or maybe Mach Dojo, so I could take the summers off.

Sityodtong or Team Link, I could stay close to home, they have both been putting out so quality as of late.

I would go to New Mexico to train with Greg Jackson's camp he seems like he Knows what he's doing and he seems to care about his fighters and my man GSP is there from time to time and training with GSP would be cool

Name Goes Here

I think a combination of team RAndy and team Fedor would play to my strengths. Though somebody kicky would also be a good idea...

Well during the summers/school breaks I train at Fairtex and I love it. I would still probably pick Team Alpha Male (Faber's camp) or train at Team Quest.

found this interesting

After doing a little bit of digging on Sherdog’s Fight Statistics section, MMA Madness posted a list of the ten most successful MMA camps (with at least 100 combined fights). I've added some of their bigger names in case someone doesn't know

1. Arizona Combat Sports, 116-27, .81 (Varner, Dollaway, Fickett)
1. Jackson’s Submission Fighting, 124-30, .81 (Jardine, Rashad, had Diego)
3. Minnesota Martial Arts, 243-64, .79 (Lesnar, Sherk, The Goat)
4. Team Curran, 108-42, .77 (Curran, Mohr)
4. American Jiu-Jitsu, 92-28, .77
4. American Kickboxing Academy, 174-53, .77 (Swick, Kos, Fitch)
7. HIT Squad, 80-25, .76 (Hughes, Lawler)
7. Capital City Fighting Alliance, 78-25, .76 (Urijah, Irvin, Scott Smith)
7. Southwest MMA, 78-25, .76
7. Miletich Martial Arts, 457-148, .76 (Timbo, Big Ben, had Hughes)

Falling just out of the top ten were ATT, Xtreme Couture, Team Punishment, and The Pit.

Remember, this is based on Sherdog's lists of who is in what camp, which is not usually up to date, and you have to consider many fighters train at many camps. For example, GSP trains heavily at Jackson's camp, but is not listed as a member, whereas Diego Sanchez, who left there a year ago, is still listed. Also, if a fighter just joined and is listed in a camp, I think there career record is used.

The more I think about it, this list is useless. lol.
