The Good: New venue is great.
The Bad: Alot :(
1 James Nicole v Some Other dude.
James won a bull**** decision. Very bad/biased judging . boring fight.
2.Xavier Foupa-Pokam beat Tom Watson by Submission (Triangle/Kimura)
Prof. X totally outclassed Kong over two rounds in the stand up and on the ground. Good fight.
3 Alex Owen beat Brad Pickett by Decision (Majority)
Very good fight. I gave the first round to Alex (very close) Alex had a sweep and armbar triangle attempts, The 2nd to Brad (again very close) Brad was very aggressive ad pushed the pace. Brad had a total brain fart in round 3 and gave Alex his back which is where he stayed for the entire round landing pot shots and going for RNCs. Abit boring in retospect.
4 Cyrille Diabate beat Ryan Robinson Submission (Armbar) in round 1
Ryan looked horrible and was outclassed. sweet armbar by the Snake.
5 Abdul Mohamed beat Ross Pointon by KO (Spinning Back Fist)
WOW. Go out of your way to see this KO. Cadidate for KO of the year IMO. Ross' size gave Abdul some problems intially but was winning. TheKO came out of nowhere.
6 Paul Daley beat Paul Jenkins by Submission/TKO (Punch to the Body).
Very good fight. Good exchanges. Semtex came close with an armbar I think at the end of the 1st. Semtex exploded and took out Hands with a nasty body shot. No way he could continue
7 Mark Epstein beatRoman Webber by KO (Punch)
Good brawl. Very evenly matched. Roman should get another shot. Nasty upper cut finsihed it.
8 Mark Weir beat Daijiro Matsui by Decision (Unanimous)
Boring fight. Matsui did not come to fight and Weir refused to engaged. Matsui could not get close and did not want to stay in the pocket. Very boring fight. Matsui tried a forward roll double leg three times!!! failed on each attempt.
9 Murilo Rua beat Alex Reid by TKO (Cut on the Shin).
Absolute diasaster. Nasty deep cut on the shin after checking a kick. Reidy was alright for a minute after the stoppage but then needed to be held up and was carried out ofthe cage.
10 James Zikic beat Evangelista Santos by Decision.
A bit boring. Very controversial decision. If I was Cyborg I would be pissed off. Basically Cyborg destroyed JAmes leg in the first with kick and then gassed after the first. James narrowly took the 2nd due to superior head shots but Cyborg landed good kicks again but was not busy enough. Borting slow last round that could hasve gone eith way.
11 Vitor Belfort beat Ivan Serati by TKO (Punches).
Vitor ****ed him up. landed kick, punches. ectaully it went to the floor and Vitor took his back and unleashed a series of hooks to the head. mismatch
12 Gary Turner David Abbott TKO (Punches) 1 2:31
WOW. Tank nearly took Gary's head off. Tank then gassed in a massive flurry trying to finish yje fight. Gary did welll to survive.
Tank got a takedown bought some breathing space. Stood up. Tank Went for another takedown and went for an ankle lock! Did not come close. After than Gary took over and smashed him from mount.
