After years of terrorizing the MMA world with his lethal high kicks, someone has finally returned the favor to Mirko Cro Cop.
Mirko seemed very leery of getting into a punching exchange with Gonzaga. Mirko stayed out of punching range which left him at the right distance for a high kick that he obviously didn't expect. End result- Mirko was on the wrong end of a brutal KO. Had Mirko closed distance and used his superior boxing skills the fight may have ended differently.
Mirko still has several fights left on his UFC contract if I am not mistaken. I will be curious how this will all play out.
