Silva knocked out Franklin 3 times

Watching the fight over again (after some speculation on other boards), I now notice that Franklin was knocked out 3 times in the fight last night.

Once from an upkick (brief KO and a very bad angle from the cameras, but you can see Franklin collapse); Once from that right alongside the fence; and ofcourse the melee that ended the fight.

Congratulations Rich ! You did atleast achieve something on Saturday... A new record for how many times you can be KO'd in an mma fight before it is officially over ! ! ! !

Ok I didnt buy the PPV, but I downloaded the Franklin/Silva fight after hearing about the ass whuppin. Something troubled me about watching Rich in that fight, but I finally figured it out. In both fights, any time Silva slapped on a muy thai clinch, even with just one hand, Rich Franklin looked scared and powerless. Its like he's a cat being carried around by his scruff, he doesn't particularly like it, but there just isn't much he can do about it.

Well it's clear that he has a phobia of the Muay Thai clinch and with good reason. Even yesterday, his natural instincts would take over and he would try to break free (which is dangerous and Franklin can't do effectively) instead of tying Silva up really close.

It was only a matter of time before Franklin was caught.

Franklin's confidence as a fighter is shot (especially agasint Silva). So I'm not sure where he can go from here.

hey guys, it's not rich Franklin, who we should be worried about. we should terribly concerned with little Cammy.. since the loss last night, the kid has been awefully quiet and hasn't posted much. and i've even read him say "I ****ing hate my life". i believe it is our responsibility as his fellow board members to encourage and let him know that life is still worth living. i mean, it must be so tough for the poor kid. it's bad enough that his idol got his ass whooped again by the same fighter, but on top of that, someone had the audacity to make him put up a gay azz sig. what an insult to injury

Easily Franklin.

Rampage can at least tie up Wanderlie and take him down. He was able to hang with Wanderlie for a good amount of time and fatigue probably didn't help Rampage defend the Muay Thai clinch.

Franklin is a small baby in Anderson's hands.

However, both of them suffer from Muay Thai knee phobia. I wouldnt' blame them, once you get destroyed by the Mauy Thai clinch like that it's very hard to have any confidence fighting against it.

that pic is from a website of a group I had to bartend for for a weekend. I bartend at a hotel and this group had the whole hotel for the weekend (annual event), They are called bears, and the event is called Furfest. 150 large hairy gay men. For their dance, they wore leather daddy outfits, g strings, body glitter, bondage (remember the wrestlers Demolition), etc...

I am pretty open minded so I have no problem with it, even though these guys are all over ya, but it was worth it as the tips were great and I cleared over a grand and a half that weekend.
