Aleks Emelianenko Removed Due To Positive Hep B Test.
A source close to the situation spoke to MMANews.com's Michael Moody on a condition of anonymity and explained that the blood tests came back right before Aleks and Buentello were scheduled to weigh in and that is why there was so much confusion around the stage.

So, is that it for him? No AC will ever let him fight in the US again I don't believe. It's a rather easily communicable disease so who would want to get his blood all over them?
Wow, that's ****ing hardcore and ****ing sucks. I hope he's ok healthwise for the longterm as that is obviously most important, but damn that sucks.

Doesn't necessarily mean his career is over. Hepatitis B specifically is an acute viral infection. You get it, your body fights it off, you never get it again. Look it up

Yeah. Aleks will be good to fight in a month or so after he beats the disease. He's fine.
Also explains why the fight was stopped, perfectly legitimate reason.
In addition, the clincher in the gif is the guy who is behind the "woman" with a smirk on his face like he knows EXACTLY what Fedor is thinking

Orly?!
Hepatitis B,
is a liver disease caused by the hepatitis B virus (HBV). It ranges in severity from a mild illness, lasting a few weeks (acute), to a serious long-term (chronic) illness that can lead to liver disease or liver cancer.
Transmission: Contact with infectious blood, semen, and other body fluids from having sex with an infected person, sharing contaminated needles to inject drugs, or from an infected mother to her newborn.
Vaccination: Hepatitis B vaccination is recommended for all infants, older children and adolescents who were not vaccinated previously, and adults at risk for HBV infection.
Anyone can get hepatitis B, but the risk is higher if a person:
Has sex with someone infected with hepatitis B virus
Has sex with more than one partner
Is a man who has sex with another man
Lives in the same house with someone who has lifelong hepatitis B virus infection
Has a job that involves contact with human blood
Injects illegal drugs
Is a patient or worker in a home for the developmentally disabled
Has hemophilia
Moves or travels often to areas where hepatitis B is common
Persons whose parents were born in some parts of China, Southeast Asia, Africa, the Amazon Basin in South America, the Pacific islands, and the Middle East are also at high risk.
What is the treatment for hepatitis B?
There is no cure for hepatitis B. Treatment includes rest and proper diet.

If I had hepatitis B in the past, can I get it again?
No, once you recover from hepatitis B, you develop antibodies that protect you from the virus for life. An antibody is a substance found in the blood that the body produces in response to a virus. Antibodies protect the body from disease by attaching to the virus and destroying it. However, some people, especially those infected during early childhood, remain infected for life because they never clear the virus from their bodies
As long as he doesn't develop long term hep B, he will be alright

Knowing Aleks' background, it's kinda tough and and at the same time a bit unfair to speculate on what caused this virus. Very interesting though...

From what I'm reading, it stays with you. He has to get rid of it first, and in some cases a person can still have it, but it cant be detected. I cant see with that as a factor that anyone would allow him to bleed on them.
Where the fuk is DR Loot when ya need him.
I'm no Doc, but eitherway it doesnt sound like a stuffy nose.
