Inoki today announced that Mirko CroCop will fight at Inoki Bom Ba ye on New Year's Eve.

It is rumourd that Mirko's opponent will be Japanese pro-wrestler such as Takayama or Naoya Ogawa.

Kazuyuki Fujita will fight too.

Nog is scheduled to fight.

As for K-1 and PRIDE on December 31,

K-1 will have Bob Sapp vs Sumo star(Yokozuna), Akebono.

PRIDE will have Silva.

Cro cop vs Takayama would be very interesting! Takayama would get killed, but it would be cool to see if Mirko can kick so high!

will he be facing them just toget him back on the right track? I really want to see Mirko face off against Fedor or Nog again.

Takayama is the front runner I keep hearing for Mirco. Crocop will take him out, but Tak can take big punishment. Inoki wants pros vs MMA fighters and this is his way of doing it. I don't think Ogawa wants any part of Crocop. While he has legit judo skills he really doesn't want MMA.

Sapp v Akebono is going to be horrendous. K-1 has lost their minds even worse than some of Inokis insane matchups.

I can atest to that. Remember the Don Frye vs Takayama fight? Easily one of the best standup wars in MMA history....

Sapp v Akebono is going to be horrendous. K-1 has lost their minds even worse than some of Inokis insane matchups.

This goes well beyond "Novelty Match" and straight to pointless "Freak Show Match". It will be nothing more than a race to see who can gas-out the fastest *stated with an utter lack of the typical sarcasm*

So let me get this straight?

K-1's "Dynamite 2003", the Inoki Bom Ba's show with Mirko, and PRIDE with a possible Rampage vs. Silva rematch will all happen on December 31st???

That's crazy. I don't know what I should put on tape as I go out and party the night away? Silva vs. Rampage I guess.

K-1, Inoki and PRIDE will have their shows on the same day and the same time. :?

Why? Because Inoki drew 16% as a TV rating last year.

But this year I dont know who the winner will be or all are losers....

Go PRIDE go!!! It's going to be somewhat difficult to beat Inoki if Inoki has Mirko and Fujita locked up for their show.

are all three K-1, Inoki and PRIDE going to be on PPV in America or just PRIDE? Hopefully they're all on so we can analyze the competition ourselves.
