biggest upset: of the night was nog over crocop.(sak's win was close too)
best fight :silva/rampage
best fighter: yoshida came out to shock the world and left with my respect.
also nog was in close second by showing heart and a great chin.
who were the heros in this card?

Biggest Upset: i have to agree with you on this one lefty, i had crocop slated to ko nog, but alas i was wrong. Great fight, and i give all my props to nog. And once again i agree with you, sak's fight was a close second, becuase i had randelman ko'ing sak.
Best fight: Silva vs rampage. Partly becuase i am a little biased for silva due to the fact that he is my favorite fighter. I also give mad props to rampage, damn all those knees and he still smiles at silva.
Best Fighter: I have to say sakuraba on this one. I wasn't a big fan of sak before this fight but i tell you what, i was completely overjoyed when he subbed randelman. I think alot of people had randelman to win the fight, but he sure did prove alot of people wrong, including me. I think that is why i like robby's avatar so much, just becuase sak is looking like a badass.
no heroes for me, becuase everybody was one. I can't say anything about the herring fight due to the fact that i havnt seen it. Once i see it, i will be able to make an opinion about it, whether it was really a suck ass fight or a good one.

Best Fighter
=Wanderlei Silva
-The man won the PRIDE GP and is likely the top 205 lbs fighter in the world; what more needs to be said....
Best Fight
=Rampage vs Silva
-From the opening staredown you knew it was going to be an all-out war. These two have had bad blood for a while and they showed it. Tremendous fight with a tremendous KO.
Biggest Upset
=Minotauro vs Cro Cop
-Pretty much nobody thought Nog could get the victory here. Most thought this was just a big stumbling block on the road to Fedor.
Heroes
=Kazushi Sakuraba, Hidehiko Yoshida
-Saku has always been one of my heroes and he showed why with that brilliant armbar victory. I had lingering doubts about Yoshida, but they've all been dispelled. The true heart and spirit the man displayed was amazing. He truly posseses some great fighting skills.

Best Fight: Silva Jackson. I can't believe how dominant Silva was and can't believe the damage Jackson took without being KO'd!!!
Biggest Upset: Nog. He was being beaten and didn't look like he would get the takedown. Mirko made a serious mistake and paid for it. He should have won.
Best Fighter: Don't like him but you have to give it to silva. He was on the ground for long time against Yoshida and didn't get submitted and then destroyed Jackson standing up!! He proved to me he is the most well rounded fighter in the world.
Hero: Sak. amazing performance that I didn't expect.
Biggest disapointment: Liddell-wow he looked inefective, after viewing the GP tourney I don't think Liddell is in the same class as the other guys. I really like Chuck but he looked outclassed badly against the perfomances of the other fighters.

upset: Sakuraba vs Randleman. I thought Randleman was just going to slaughter Sak and then when Saku pulled off the miracle I was almost crying with happiness!
best fight: Silva vs Jackson. This was easily the best fight of the year.
best fighter: Sakuraba. You know why
Hero: Sakuraba. Once again, you know why.
biggest upset-sakuraba over randleman.i've been anticipating this event ever since total elimination, and SOOOOO many people doubted sak, gave up on him, said he was washed up.SOOOO many people picked randleman for a quick ko.Sak shocked everyone, and proved he is a dangerous fighter that should never be taken lightly by anyone.
runner up-nog vs cro crop, only because nog is a proven warrior and ground technition, and cro crop still is on the come up, so i wasn't too surprised to see nog sub mirko.
best fight-silva vs rampage.a moment between two warriors when silva smiles at rampage after giving him many blows, as to say, i'm going to finish you....and rampage, after getting knocked down several times, somehow, found a way to get back up, again....AND AGAIN, and after vanderlie smiled, quinton smiled right back, as to say, keep dishing it out if you think you can knock me out....which he didn't.
that was a war, and both are top fighters if not both of them being in the top 3 at this point.
runner up-rampage at chuck.chuck did get his blows in, and a few of his punches would have knocked out lesser fighters, but none participating in the tournament.rampage threw sooo many blows, but yet chuck kept on getting up, and striking with him.quinton showed me how good a fighter he really is.
best fighter of the night-silva.the man proved that right now, at this point, he is at the top of his game in every aspect.he almost submitted yoshida, and outstruck rampage.he's a beast, and will be a force that has to be wreckoned with.
runner up-rampage.superb striker, great stamina, perhaps the biggest heart in mma right now, and a chin like titaniam.

Yeah when Nog won it was like a ****ing movie...
Like Rocky or something...
Really good stuff.
Sak was an upset in my book thought I wanted him to win.
Yoshida was mvp in my book and I preferred his fight with Silva over Silva and Rampage as fight of the night.
Hero- Yoshida no 1 and Sak no 2.
