What's your favorite SNL sketch?

One of my favorites is "Jingleheimer Junction." I still can't get enough of that one.

Don't know that I remember Jingleheimer Junction. I'm going to go old school. Dan Ackroyd in Bassomatic. Dan as the sleezy salesman selling dangrous items as kid toys. Dan and Steve Martin as the wild and crazy guys. Belushi as Samarai. Blues Brothers. Phil Hartman as Sinatra. Phil as Caveman lawyer. Eddie Murphy as Mr. Robinson. Eddie as James Brown singing "Hot Tub".

But the best of all was Akroyd as Fred Garvin Male Prostitute.

there was also that twosome who thought they were muscle-bound freaks and spoke in Arnold-type accents. I don't remember what the sketch was called though.

There's also the Ambiguously Gay Duo of course.

Hanz and Franz were played by Kevin Nealon and Dana Carvey. I'm with Cbear on the James Brown's Celebrity Hot tub.

anyone remember the creepy Mr. Mike guy or whatever his name was from the early seasons? Looked a little like Hunter Thompson and seemed drugged out, he would do skits that were just plain creepy.

Fred Garvin is awesome and so is the skit where Crhistopher Walken is doing the census. My favorite is the one where they switch the coffee brand that Farley is drinking and he goes completely ape****.

Never been big on SNL - but there was a recent one where a guy does a DEAD ON impression of Denzel Washington (doesn't look like him and he kinda fails on the faces, but the voice was PERFECT). The skit itself wasn't that funny, but the impression just made you laugh.

Did Conan O'Brien write that sketch? Because it just screams his humor.

SNL in the 80's had Bob Odenkirk, Robert Smigel and Conan O'Brien working as a team. That's just awesomely funny right there.

Has anyone seen the skit that got Damon Wayans fired from SNL?

Where he was a cop and lost confidence in the sketch so he started doing his Mike Tyson voice but it got interpreted as him doing a "gay" voice so he was fired over mocking homosexuals?

Never heard of it, who is Damon Wayans?
