It's time to rank the fighters folks. For each weight class, name your top 10 from 1-10. There will be a scoring system for the rankings. After exactly 12 days are past, I'll compile the points and release the official, overalll list. The scoring system will be done as follows:

1st= 12 points
2nd= 10 points
3rd= 8 points
4th= 7 points
5th= 6 points
6th= 5 points
7th= 4 points
8th= 3 points
9th= 2 points
10th= 1 point

There is also a list of possible fighters you may choose from for each division in order to prevent unneccesary joke-type rankings.(All legibly good fighters from each weight are listed) The possible fighters that may be chosen for each are as follows:

I just can't do it. Too many of these guys fluctuate between classes, and different promotions consider the same weight a different class. For example robby says "please be sure to consider the results of Final Conflict when making your choices". Robby is also a huge Sakuraba fan (and rightfully so!), so I find it curious that although Sakuraba competed in the tournament robby conveniently considers him a middleweight (in order to rank him higher I'm guessing) while the other tournament competitors are ranked as light heavyweights. I suppose it would be fun to rank your favorites, but it would take me all day, and there are too many morons (as we found out when we recently ranked our favorite 205 lb fighters) that would rather challenge your OPINION than to take the time to actually learn a little about MMA. Also, just a tip for a few of you....just because YOU have never heard of someone doesn't mean that he isn't worthy of a high ranking. Not every great fighter competes in Pride or the UFC. Have fun guys. :)

Use the weight a fighter last fought in.
ex. I'm considering Evan Tanner a middleweight because of his UFC 45 fight.

Weight classes:

Lightweight – over 145 lbs. to 155 lbs.
Welterweight – over 155 lbs. to 170 lbs.
Middleweight – over 170 lbs. to 185 lbs.
Light Heavyweight – over 185 lbs. to 205 lbs.
Heavyweight – over 205 lbs. to 265 lbs.
