I apologize if this is a stupid question but is this Noguiera related to A. Rodrigo and A. Rogerio Noguiera? Just curious.
Could you imagine growing up in a house with V. Silva and a bunch of brothers. They'd take "rough-housing" to new levels (high or low depends on how you look at it). I had a bunch of brothers and we got crazy, but that would be a psych ward. No disrespect intended; I have tons of respect for Silva. Just a funny thought I thought I thought for a second.
Nogueira (walnut tree) is a surname that had its origins at the Iberic Peninsula while the Inquisition last. The jews that were persecuted, if they were converted to the Catholic faith, had to change their surnames to names related to nature. So there are a lot of surnames in Portuguese like Nogueira, Palmeira, Pereira, Limeira.
Alexandre Pequeno is not a relative of Antonio Rodrigo Minotauro.
Silva is the most common surname in Brazil.

Dang, girl, you're a walking encyclopedia :D Thanks for the info!
In America we're too lazy to say "yes" or "no"...we would have answered "ya" or "pull you're head out of your butt dude".
