These next two weeks are pretty much the best that boxing has to give. I'm looking forward to all these fights. But, relatively speaking I'd say I'm a 7/10 on the anticipation scale as compared to 9.5/10 for UFC 46.
Dec 6
Vitali Klitschko vs. Kirk Johnson
Joe Mesi vs. Monte Barrett
Dec 13
David Tua vs. Hasim Rahman
for the WBA interim heavyweight title
Ricardo Mayorga vs. Cory Spinks
for the undisputed world welterweight title
Bernard Hopkins vs. William Joppy
for the undisputed world middleweight title.

dec.6th is a "great white hope" night. vitalie should be able to beat johnson. i actually think it'll be a good fight, closer than anticipated. mesi will be fighting for the second time on hbo against his first top 20 heavy.expect a mid round ko. do i really care about his card, not really. win or lose, nothing significant will happen.
the dec.13th card will be entertaining. i want to see mayorga have his post fight smoke, and hope hopkins gets upset. they say the winner of ruiz/rahman will be jones's mandatory.
no real signifigant fights on the horizon, so i'll be looking forward to k-1 instead.
I think Tua vs Rahman will be a good fight. I look for a Tua win by KO. Tua is one of those boxers who can really punch.

Kirk Johnson will probably just bash Vitali in the balls and get DQ'ed like he does to all his other opponents.

I too am excited to see the Mayorga vs. Spinks fight. That said, Mayorga is already talking about an early retirement (I hate boxer's with that attitude).
I'll be curious to see what happens with Vitali and Mesi's fights. The rest I really couldn't care less.
And yes Lefty, the winner of Ruiz (not Tua )vs. Rahman will be Roy Jones' mandatory. But Jones has already said that he doesn't care if they strip his belt or not. He wants one more mega fight with Tyson before retiring (bull**** attitude).
Tua was suppose to fight Rahman but couldn't come to terms or something stupid like that.

So let's get this straight. David Tua is not fighting Hasim Rahman but instead John Ruiz is? I think that's terrible news. Two fighters like John Ruiz and Hasim Rahman are going to make for a terribly boring match.

I was so excited to see Tua fighting as he is one of my favorite fighters, a younger smarter Tyson, who fights like him, has the same build, but is stronger! now Ruiz v Rahman, so much that snore fest. Vitali should murder him but that cut is really fresh, look for Johnson to target that right away!

Don't mind him. It's ok for you to type in caps if you want.
