In a bizarre twist, the "Shut up and Fight" Card has been shut down. It seems owner Les Dickens is pretty skeptical of who exactly shut it down right before the event was supposed to come off. Here's Dickens words late last night on the Underground.
'As of 4:10 pm this afternoon, officially MMA in British Columbia is unlawfull as per section 83. No event no matter what the sanctioning body will take place in the province. One individual with maximum commitment took it upon himself to do an enormous amount of work in the last few days to ensure the criminal code was followed word for word. I apologize to everyone for the inconvenience and will post further information in the next few days.

Dickens was on MMAWeekly Radio just yesterday morning talking about his exciting event with host Ryan Bennett. Now it's over and there is already fall out of exactly who shut it down.
MMAWeekly Radio will try to contact owner Les Dickens and talk about the situation today live on MMAWeekly Radio. As far as what some of the fighters are saying, here is what fighter Chris Brennan said on the same forum. Brennan was accusing another Canadian promoter for shutting down the show.
"I heard your name today from someone that was the last word in this being shut down. You know you did it and we know every avenue you took to do it. You ****ed us and I will make sure you get fu$%^$% in the end. We are here in Canada if you have a problem with anything I am saying, and get a new ****ing screen name and be more creative this time..."
