why are k-1,pride, and inoki so set on having cards on dec.31st? if those cards were here in the u.s., i'm sure ratings wouldn't be great because we'd all(most of us) would be too drunk to watch it. don't the japanese party on new years?

why would alll these organizations want to compete on the same day? their viewers will be split watching all three instead of one event. pride could headline a card with yoshida/gracie, but instead decide to have it on new years on an untelivised(in the u.s.) card. whats the deal with this?

k-1 is having their finals only 10 days before, so no important fighter will be featured. why do they even bother? maybe butterbean, vince phillips ,giant montoya and that ugly ass guy can headline this card.

i think fedor and crocop should save their gas for each other. goodridge was suposed to be a tuneupfor fedor, and he broke his thumb. it cost him a fight with crocop and his title.

inoki has always had a card on new years, i have no problem here. why pride and k-1 are trying so hard to shadow inoki, makes no sense to me. maybe they feel threatened.

I think it's because in Japan, Inoki's Bon Ba Ye got tremendous ratings last year and the two other huge combat companies want a share of that financial pie. Ratings= Money

I think Keita once mentioned that just like Claymore said, the ratings for the New Years shows go absolutely through the roof! That's basically the only reason I can think of to hold shows on December 31.
