I hear so many chums telling me that Fedor is the best ground and pounder there is. That's not true. He might be the best that there is today, but back in the day Coleman's GnP would have beaten Fedor's on any given day. He beat Schilt, Herring, and Rodrigo Nogueira big deal. Nogueira is a guy tailor made for him and Schilt and Herring aren't that great at all. Lets see what happens to Fedor once he steps into the ring with a truly great fighter.

I suppose he is a little overrated, but even as it is, he's the #1 ranked heavyweight in the world today.

Fedor is not overrated. He's the top ranked heavyweight in the world for a reason.

Fedor isn't overrated but neither is Cro Cop or Nogueira, which is precisely why the Fedor/Cro Cop is going to be something special.

Finally, someone else who knows! Obviously the man is overrated at least to a little bit of an extent. He's only beaten grapplers/crappy strikers and has never actually beaten a good striker. If Fedor's opponent can strike at all, he's in danger and he proved thatin his fight with Fujita.

I disagree, Fedor became a little too confident in the Fujita fight and took a really blind swing that landed right behind the ear. I'd say most fighters would have dropped to that, but Fedor has good enough stamina to stay on his feet, even under such a devastating blow.

Did you see Fedor's mocking guard during that fight? Really a mistake on his part.

I really don't think he's overrated, his ground and pound skills bide no time, and is somewhat unlike anything we ever see right now. He is the heavyweight champion, and once he defeats Cro Cop in what is to be an amazing fight, there won't be any argument on his fighting prowess.

Cro Cop just another victim???
Fedor has been avoiding Cro Cop whole 2003! Injuries? Both times? Ha, right.

Hitting Goodridge as hard and rashly as Fedor did is bound to give root to reprocussions, I don't think Fedor is afraid, just smart. You don't fight a guy like Cro Cop unless you're at the top of your game.

Cro Cop and Fedor are by far two two strongest fighters right now and who ever wins will be a champion for a long period. Are you with me on this Fedor?

I certainly would not consider him overated, but I don't think he WAY better than the others out there, right now I think on any given night, Nog ; Cro cop and Fedor could exchange that belt back and forth. Maybe a few others could compete with them but these 3 are in a league of their own.

I agree on Cro Cop and Fedor, but not on Nog. I don't think Nog has what it really takes to compete with Fedor and Cro Cop anymore and he basically got lucky with his victory ove Mirko at Final Conflict. Trust me that Mirko will never loset o Nog again. As for fedor, we all saw what he did to Nog at PRIDE 25.

On the topic of Fedor and Fujita, if Fujita rocked Fedor hard with such a desperation right hand, imagine what Cro Cop could do with a well placed "precise" kick.

Sorry sleekdom, after I saw Nog battle Sapp, I know he is a warrior and deserves the respect of both Cro cop and Fedor. Do I think he can take Fedor? No, but if he did I would not be massively shocked either.

I agree completely, there's no one that can ever touch these two. Even if Nog did beat Cro Cop, i wouldn't want to be Nog if there was ever a rematch. Cro Cop wouldn't play around.

Whoever wins this fight will eb unmatched for some time, i like to believe Fedor can win, but it only takes on kick!

Cro Cop and Fedor are the top of the heap right now, but there are so many great heavyweights out there that it will hard to maintain such a level of excellence for a sustained period of time. I think the title might cycle between the three fighters for a long period of time.
