The guy is amazing to watch in his current style. (San Show or something like that) He is currently undefeated. Will we see him in MMA anytime and how will he do?
Cung Le is awesome and I hope to see him in MMA sometime soon. I think he could kick some major ass on the MMA scene. Have you seen this guys axe kicks? Damn, they're amazing.

I think Cung Lee would become very popular very quickly. He is a real showman who has awesome looking moves. Some of his moves look like they are straight out of a video game. Very charismatic and powerful looking, he would be a star instantly.

I'm not familiar with him, what does he currently do? ie: what competitions does he fight in.
Here is a picture of Cung:

Cung Le is the current ISKA World Sanshou Champion. He fights in the Strike Force organization and he knocks out everybody he faces. He has already been inducted into Kung Fu magazine's hall of fame.
Could Cung Le be the first huge Chinese MMA superstar?

Cung Le is awesome! I wish there were more people fighting at his level though so they could showcase some really good fights in K-1. A lot of the MMA fans haven't been impressed with him because he's been fighting guys who are used to the strategies and skills used for San Shou as opposed to K-1 or MMA.
I train in San Shou/San Da so I'm pretty excited to see him getting recognition. It's a fun and growing sport and has a lot to offer people interested in MMA.

i've never seen him fight, but have heard plenty about him. i still think mma or k-1 is the major leugue , compared to the iska. if he does make the transition to mma, he should start slowly and work his way up through the ranks like crocop did. hopefully he'll be smarter than some others and wont get suckered into a suicide first fight.(don frye's first k-1 debut fight against lebanner comes to mind)

Like Lefty, I've never seen this guy before but I have heard of him. Although I can't be sure, all reports seem to indicate that he's an excellent fighter. I'd love to see him test his hand at MMA one day.

Hmm, I should find some interviews with him or something - I'm curious if he's actually at all interested in transitioning to MMA or not. He has a successful school already and has made appearances in K-1. He'd have to train a lot in ground fighting to transition to MMA and I wonder it at this point in his career he feels like that's something he wants to do...
I know I read in interviews with Frank Shamrock that they did some training together - Frank wanted to train in striking with Cung Le and they were sparring partners for a while. Don't know if Frank taught Cung Le any ground stuff, though.

I remember reading an interview in Blackbelt magazine saying the Cung Le didn't have time to train grappling and that he was getting old.

You more then likely wont see him fight in mma he only has 3 moves and he does them over and over,I mean him know disrespect as I said hes good at what he does. But mma is a whole nother game and remember when he loses what I said,But I think he knows better then to try a ggod fighter mma rules.

Never heard anything about Cung Le doing any grappling (MMA style)although he's been around. I say he loses in MMA, a submission guy should be able to put him in a heelhook and retire him for good.

Cung is fast and does great takedowns and ****..he was featured on some K 1 shows..
But how is his submissions, does he train in them..
I am willing to give anyone a chance but if Cung was going to make the move I figure he would have done so by now. Who knows?
