According to many news sites including Fightsport, K-1 is setting up a Tyson vs Akebono fight for March of 2004.

i hope akebono gives tyson a king kong bundy style avalache against the turnbuckle followed by a super splash off the top rope. oh ****, i forgot this was k-1 and not wrestling. it's getting hard to tell the difference these days.

obviously k-1 doesnt plan on showcasing it's skilled kickboxers anymore. what a shame.

holy **** stain, Tyson is going to destroy Akebono is a pure standup fight. Hell, Sapp is going to destroy Akebono even!

Do not believe these rumors. Tyson vs. Akebono, Tyson vs. Sapp. Tyson will not fight in K-1. He said on a radio show interview he wants to fight three boxing matches in 2004. Including Joe Mesi and Roy Jones Jr.

He'll beat Joe Mesi but I think Roy Jones would beat him.

The fight itself is on thin ice, but it should be March 2004. It will be mistery for some time though.
