on a previous thread, we talked about how a good number of todays boxing stars are hitting the ends of their careers. lewis, tyson, hopkins jones, barrera ,kostya and even oscar will soon be reaching the ends of their respective careers. some may go at it a few more years, but most will call it quits.

so my question is, what do we have to look forward to? where are our young prospects?

despite his confussing loss, i think muhamed abduliav is the hotest prospect. even though he's 30 or so, he'll be a force as he gets more wins under his belt.

panchito bojado looks good when he's focused. jeff lacy packs a big punch, and i think will be a force at light heavy(purgatory division).

what about miguel cotto? he's beening praised as the next trinidad, but cant make weight.

what do you guys think?

There are some interesting possible future matchups at 140 to 147, which seem to be the mecca divisions right now, or will be. I'm still pissed off at Bojado for when he lost to Rubio. Jeff Lacy and Jermain Taylor probably are on course to meet each other in a superfight at 175. Outside of that I don't much care to comment.

I say Mario Preskar. He is nineteen year old hw from Croatia. For last half year he trains in USA and Don King already contracted him. I will not talk much about him cause he has only one pro fight (quick ko though), but I wanted to let you know about him cause you`ll probably see that name a lot in next 2-3 years. Remember that name, MARIO PRESKAR!!

I take back what I said earlier and agree with you on Pac Man.
