I was watching some 1 a.m. ESPN, and they were showing some K-1. There was a match between Cung Lee and Sheely. The fight was under San Show rules (???). Lee was using throws and leg sweeps on Sheely, dumping him on the canvas about 8 times in two rounds. Lee was totally having his way with Sheely, it was painful to watch.

Anyway, what the heck is this San Show? I'd never seen it before.

as far as i know, san shou is an art which utalizes strikes, throws, and takedowns. who else practices it besides cung lee?? no one knows.

i have respect for cung's talent, but he hasnt fought anyone worth mentioning, sports a 15-0 record, and has to be viewed as k-1's most protected fighter. he seems to fight to rules only he understands.

We have talked about this many times...

As far as I can tell, Cung Lee is the only man alive that knows the rules.

Thats one smart fighter who creates his own rules that nobody can figure out. I can almost imagine the scenario where some fighter finally starts kicking Cungs ass and Cung calls for a D.Q. saying it was against the rules. :-D
