How big is Volleyball in Brazil compared to Soccer?

I don´t have numbers...

But I think it takes second place, along with basketball.

People use to play soccer and voleyball at the beachs.

At schools there is something like "soccer for boys, volley for girls".

Soccer is uncomparable, though. It is an industry in itself.

The other sports still need heavy sponsoring.

V-ball is an awesome sport. I use to play a lot back in the day. The Bazilians were alwasy a world power in V-ball. Great leapers. A lot of good beach players as well, the beach game is somewhat different than court play.
