Klitschko to fight Whitaker

USA today and boxing talk have reported Wladamir is most likely going to fight Lance Whitaker.



Rumor has it the fight will be on Showtime on October 2. Sounds like a big night for Showtime - Vivian Harris- Ricky Hatton is also supposed to be that night as well.



Also HBO PPV has Tito Trinidad vs Mayorga that night. Big, big night is it all pans out.

no more goofey, and back to lance now eh? i hope to god they dont headline this over harris/hatton. i got a bad feeeling they will make it the main event.

It may headline because Harris/Hatton will probably be tape delay so will probably go on first..

Whitaker could beat Wlad or at the very least rough him up, I think this could be very tough for Wlad.

I think that if Wlad doesn't gas like last time Lance will once again end up "goofy"!

I was quite unimpressed the last time I saw Whitaker fight. He is sloppy and gasses easily too since he is very big.

I think Whitaker is in bad physical condition and rusty due to inactivity and is ripe to fall against Wlad. He does have an above average chin though but I don't think its enough to win.

Wlad is pretty much exposed to what he is - a very weak chin. One punch by Brewster put him on queer street and the TKO.

Whitaker has never been down and he has a punch. Could be interesting..

I think it's a 50/50 fight. I'll have to wait until we get closer to decide who I take.

if brewster can put wlad down, any heavy can. i think wlad will make adjustments in his game and beat goofey. wlad 's been given numerous chances to achieve his star potential, if he oses to goofey, he's finished.goofey doesnt have the agressiveness and heart to beat wlad in my opinion. i'd give it 75/25 for wlad.
