hey i found a school to really start training hard with i think...im going monday to check it out...but i got a few questions...as far as teen compititions are there any...like not no holds bard per say...but like a mma stand up fights ...or mma grappling fights....for teens....or is it just spesific styles...liek mui tai fights ...tkd...and such or brazilian ju jit su judo wrestling....cause that will determine wether i want to do mixed or pick a style...cause i want to compete

where do you live?
In denver we have grappling tournaments and kickboxing shows. IF you are in a major city there is a high probabality that you will be able to compete in both sport jiujitsu, and kickboxing (although this may be under modified rules). you cna also check outt he NAGA tounaments (North American Grappling Association) they have teen divisions, but you may have to travel there is a tournament in Las Vegas in November for NAGA. before you sign on witht his school make sure the instructor, is qualified with a back round that you can verify, there are many people out there claiming to be BJJ experts but they really know jack ****. ANyways, find out from a locl place about tournaments, most karate associations have grappling divisions, just make sure the school has connections to train you properly for competition and that they can find out about competitions.

yeah thanx...i wasnt planing on jumping into comes that soon give me 6 months to get training again its been a while....and ivenever trained in aclass before it was always with friends...this school is more stand up training...but thats good cause im better at grappling right now...cause i trained with my friend whiel he wqs taking classes and hes been doing bjj for years....he was with american top team then he went to another school just for bjj i think it was gracie or somthing....im in broward county florida...and when i go in im gana ask about compitition but i can always switch schools wen im ready to compete if they dont
