View Full Version : Need help buying judo mats.

I'm in the process of turning my garage into a gym, and am planning to have a 13'x13' to 15'x15' sized matted area in the center. Does anyone have any experience and know where I could get proper mats for a reasonable price? The area could be permanent or temporary. Thanks if anyone has any advice.

well i recently tuurned my patio into a gym type thing but not for judo for mauy thai so im all stand up and i got away with the 1/4 inch think matts from pep boys that are pretty cheap...but your best bet is to try ebay....they were extreamly reasonable on there and most of the peoplethere have more then one you can buy....i was going to go that rout but it was more convinient to go the way i did...but im pretty sure you wana hit a little more padding then i have

I've never purchased mats before, but I checked out that site and it looks pretty good to me.

So did you ever buy those judo mats? Where did you get them from?
