Dave Meltzer broke down the money for Tough Enough awhile back and its interesting just to see how the WWE thinks. The 1 million dollars is for a 4 year deal at $4,808.00 per week (or $250,000 per year) and is not guaranteed. The WWE can cancel the contract after one year and if the person quits he stops getting paid. Thats still great money and it hurts the wrestlers making less to see contest winners with no background walk in to a deal like that.

The one year deal is smart so they don't have another Mark Henry long term deal where the guy will literally put up with anything to stay there and collect the check--after turning out to be terrible. No amount of embarrasing and bad things could run Henry off.

Speaking of contest winners, is Christy even around anymore or have I just not noticed her on tv? Surely the WWE will wrangle a Playboy photo deal out of the package.

I've always enjoyed the tough enough series.

It gave me a new respect for Al Snow, which I never had before.
Their trip to Iceland was cool too.

Too bad the show was cancelled. I guess the new show runs for about 20 minutes during Smackdown, but the old one was an hour if I remember correctly.

I always thought the show was highly successful but I guess not. That's why I have my fingers crossed about the UFC reality show. For every Apprentice, there's a Mark Cuban Benefactor, or Oscar DeLaHoYa Boxing show that bombs.

I always thought the Tough Enough winner received a million dollars right off the bat and also got a WWE contract. That's the feeling they give off when they market the show like they're doing now.

I hope Puder takes the money.

I hae Tough Enough and im sure the wrestlers feel the same way. If the company is in such dire financial turmoil, why is it that they're blowing so much money on a reality show?
