For any of you who have watched New Japan, Is this guy any good?
7-3 400 pounds

How does he compare to UT, Kane, Paul Wight, Giant Silva, EL Gigante.

Is he agile? He looks really muscular for someone so big.

I've never seen him wrestle but from all reports, he might just be the worst worker of all time....big or little.

Nobody is worse than Hacksaw Jim Duggan.

Nobody is worse than Hacksaw Jim Duggan.
On a wrestling board, the subject came up as to whether it was more important to be a good worker or bad worker--who can sell tickets. Needless to say, its the latter because selling tickets is the only thing that really matters. Hacksaw sold tickets for much of his career. Bill Watts did the perfect gimmick by giving him short matches, brawling, the board and football tackle. Basically, only 3 or 4 things to remember and they work well for a big guy who can't move very well. Hacksaw was actually believable in Mid-South but got to much comedy later in his career. I can't really nail anyone who has come back from cancer to keep working so thumbs up to Duggan.

For my money, JYD might be the worst worker of all time. And considering that "all time" also includes Tiger Jeet Singh and Abby the Butcher....thats saying something. But, JYD was a monster ticket seller in his day.

Back to Singh....he had been out of action for quite awhile for an injury but I don't recall what. For some reason, I'm thinking broken jaw but thats probably wrong. He did a fued with Giant Silva in Mexico which they tried to carry over to Japan.

Well, back to Hacksaw and JYD...you're right, Watts worked both of those guys perfectly. I used to spend some of my summer every year in Louisiana and when I'd go, the first thing I wanted to do was see Hacksaw Duggan and JYD.

Then JYD got all out of shape in the WWE and Hacksaw was basically made a joke wrestler.

I don't know why, but I always hated Hacksaw Jim Duggan. His USA chants really got my nerves.

Both Hacksaw and JYD were much better in their Mid South. For a regional promotion, Mid South had the best talent. I miss them old days of waking up on sat mornings and watching Mid South. Id then stay up late and watch it again that night. The other night they had a local show, I dont remember the organization, but it was a toys for tots thing and General Skandar Akbar was one of the main attractions. I remember seeing him set people on fire. I seen many big names at the local Mid South shows. A lot of big names first came on the scene in Mid South. Duggan, JYD, Ted Dibiase, The Rock N Roll Express, the Midnight Express, Kamala, and others.
