It will never happen and nobody in WWE will think of it, but here is my 2 cents.
Whether Puder wins or not, he is the only TE contestant fans want to support and needs to be pushed immediately...but smartly. The smart angle is to build off the real Angle shoot but Puder isn't ready for him in the ring. I suggest the WWE bring in Ken Shamrock for a short run as a mentor to Puder against Team Angle. Ken will be recognizable to fans, can cut a fair promo and do enough in the ring to half ass. I'd have Puder win TE, then Angle do a beat down. Next week Ken Shamrock makes an appearance for his fellow "Ultimate Fighter" to help school Puder to beat Team Angle and watch his back. They can hide Puder with Shamrock and come up with enough smoke and mirrors to where nobody is exposed too badly. I know Angle is injured so he needs to be protected too. A shooter team against Team Angle could be good. Of course Angle needs help too, so I'd bring back Benjamin and/or Haas to support their former mentor against the Shooter Team.
Before you say Shamrock can't or won't do it--I think he would. He needs the money which is why he wants to fight in Japan as UFC doesn't want to use him for at least 6 months or more. UFC also doesn't mind if he does pro wrestling. The crux is whether Vince will use him short term and not enforce the no compete clause with other groups (UFC). Vince should view using Sham as a 6 month worker (more if desired) to help get Puder over and buy time for Puder to learn the ropes a tiny bit. But, this will never happen.
As for the shooter group, I always wanted to see Don Frye, Mark Coleman and kevin Randleman put together a pro wrestling Shooters group and fued with the Japanese wrestlers.
