I thought she was some talentless pop star. Why is she there anyway?

She's there as the prize for the final 2 fellows. The winners get to do a 3-way.

She's Chuck Liddell's current girlfriend.

Chuck said "they hang out together".

She's a complete joke imo. She has ZERO credibility. Really, they should have come up with someone with some meaning to what's going on. I don't know who exactly, maybe BJM.

Is it impossible to find a hot, articulate woman? Willa makes me cringe when she opens her mouth.

What's funny is you can tell she shows up for the opening segment and leaves as soon as it's done...
She's worse than the Ultimate KO 3 and interviewer.

...She's worse than the Ultimate KO 3 and interviewer.Kerri Kasem in her interview with Frank Trigg after defeating Charuto; "wow, that was awesome, that was what MMA is all about, submission-punch, submission-punch...."
hahahahahahahahaha

If you listen to her interview on PWK radio, Willa dose sound like she knows what she is talking about. She said she really wanted to know what MMA was all about. However on TV it seems they just have her there for eye candy.

i guess im the only one that sees nothing wrong with her. First of all she is well known here in the states and has many fans which will attract viewers. SHe is just reading out of a damn card anyways, and she is not bad to look at :)
Maybe in a future show they will have her wrestling, and then she can earn her money.

Willa is just as bad as K.Kassem. I dont know why she is on the show. I was going to say who did she fu*k to get the job but that was already answered.
If they are going for a hot chick they could of done alot better. Willa is the only bad thing on that great show. DM

I dont see why all the complaining. Its not like she is taking away from the premise of the show, to showcase T&A. They arent doing a WWE here, which Im glad they arent. Every show has a hot chick. I dont see anything wrong.

I wonder if RingGirl would do it. She's hot and she's definitely a knowledgable fan.

RG would snap the elbow of the first idiot who talked bad to her. Actually, I'd tune in for that episode. :)

Here's a minor detail I think I noticed. I swear to god that Willa, when she is doing her intro blather, says the fighters are competing for a three year UFC contract. I've seen the re-run too, and swear she says three year deal. It's a three fight deal, isn't it? Or am I hearing things?

LOL! Thanks guys....
Oh, and just for reference, drunkmonk, she and Chuck started dating after the show started filming.
My personal feeling is, they clearly cast her to be the 'hot chick' to attract men, younger people who might know her music, etc. So why not at least show her? Why cast a hot chick if you're going to hide her and show her in wide shots the whole time? If you're not going to show her, than have someone more knowlegeable or charismatic in there. Seems like they're trying to play it somewhere in the middle and it comes across pointless to me.
If you watch some of the reality shows on other cable networks, like TLC, Discovery etc, they frequently have token hot chicks to, but they give them things to do and to show off whatever personality they have and it makes it better.
Either use her or don't have her there, but the middle road is just odd.

Personally I think it's cheesy to use her. She's not quite as painful to watch as Ms. Kasem was in UFC 50 though granted it's only been one episode. RG, you have the looks, you've interviewed alot of the fighters, traveled abroad covering events and know the fight game, would TUF or even taking Kasem's place in any future UFC event be something that would be of interest to you?

No, I'm not interested in being in front of the camera at all. I would love to work behind the scenes or in editing or something on a show like that, but not on camera.

"Token Hot Chick"...lol...I wonder if that's what they're refered to in the industry. The THC. Well, now that I think about it, probably not. THC is something else all together.

The reason her presence is annoying is because it suggests that the network thinks we are a bunch of idiots. As if we would tune in to watch an hour-long show because it gives a minute or two of air time to an attractive blond. Plus, with all of these guys on the show, who have been through blood, sweat, and tears just to get there, and who will go on to endure more, her presence is insulting- she knows nothing about the sport, and has never made the sort of sacrifices necessary to have the opportunity these guys have been given. At the very least, have an attractive female athlete- someone who has busted their ass and knows the meaning of physical sacrifices. She doesn't add a single thing to the show, and it irritates me that the network thinks I am so hard up that I will continue to watch (regardless of how good or not good the show is) because they put a piece of ass on the show for a few minutes.

There's the keyword my man. We aren't watching to see her, but she's alittle icing on the visual cake. Simple as that.
