Whose getting eliminated tongiht?
I'm not even sure how it works tonight in terms of getting voted off.
Leben and Canadian are on the same team, so Canadian might stick around for a while if Team Couture keeps winning.

Last week's episode preview showed Leben breaking the rules by hopping the fence and running away.
Maybe he gets kicked off this week?

I hope so but I really doubt it.
They've already devoted too much time to Leben in the first episode, which means he'll probably be one of the final two at MW.
I'm thinking Diego Sanchez will be the other MW finalist because he got alot of camera time and yoga as a protagonist.
Bobby Southworth also got alot of camera time and a bio for HW.
I'm pretty sure those 3 will be finalists. The 4th (2nd HW) finalist I'm not sure) of.
Thacker will probably win one fight and then lose the next one. That way he overcomes his obstacles and fears. He's just not good enough, I think it's impossible for him to win the HW division.

What's up with Gay guy. I wonder if he was paid to do that. I've never heard of a gay MMA fighter.
I don't think he's really actually gay.
haha, Thacker is so gone!

Damn. Thacker the Mascot gets kicked out. Like there was ever any doubt.

The Canadian gets eliminated :(
I don't know why he's crying about it. It almost seems as though he didn't expect to be eliminated.

Yeah i doubt he is. But I still wouldn't use the gay card for psy ops.

Hmm, theres what 25 mintues left cuz of the Raw runover.
I guess they still have the Combat Missoins log event.
Leben will probably just get a reprimand from Randy.

im pretty sure canadian is gonna be the first one to go he just doesnt have it in him even though couture gave him the pep talk hes through as for the fighter who looks kinda like tito and talks smack like him he wont be leaving any time soon cause every reality t.v. show needs that certain someone to keep things interesting so the show dosent get boring and lose viewers who arnt really familiar with mma but are interested :)
I really hope Leben gets kicked out.
Green's going to lose again!

ha, ha, green is horrible
that's what Randy gets for using his heart rather than his brain when it comes to picking a team.

This is a tough choice.
Leben is the number 2 pick, good fighter, but a cancer to the team.
Short fat black guy is a good guy but has no cardio and looks like he sucks.
And alcohoic warrior guy is problematic too.
If Leben doesn't go than it's blatant favoritism.

That was just plain awful.Leben should get the boot.He doesn't take this thing serious like most of the others. And to show disregard to the whole team by hopping the fence? That would've been enough to kick him off right there!

man, Diego would whoop Bonner's ass with ease.
What makes you so sure?
Anyway, I thought Bonner was a helluva lot wittier than Diego, who came off like kind of a tool in the 2nd episode. When Diego said something to the effect of "stop acting like my dad," and Bonnar thoughtfully looked at him and said, "It's possible I could be your dad," I laughed out loud. I don't even think Diego got it- he was too busy being a tough guy. It ain't cool to be a "tough guy," its cool to be a nice, smart, and courteous guy who happens to be tough as hell.

What makes you so sure?
Stephan Bonner= 6-1, no notable wins or titles
Diego Sanchez= 9-0, current KOTC champion, holds a victory over MMA veteran Shannon Ritch.

Agree Diego's got the better stats, but what about the size difference, and what about the fact that when you are talking about fighters who are at a certain level, anything can happen? I am sure Diego is a hell of a bad ass fighter. I've seen Bonnar train, and he is a hell of a bad ass athlete. These guys are at such a high level, it would be tough to say that one would definitely win or one would definitely lose.

i was amped after the first episode to see a weekly fight, and was completely floored to see the professional fighters competeing for a contract to contend in the UFC playing in obstacle courses like the cast of MTV's road rules vs. real world. There was not enough action at all, not enough relevancy to the fighting or the training. too much attention spent dramatizing contextually editted montages of production provoked "acting-out" amongst the fighters at their home. i'll try and look past it and hope for better episodes in the fight-promised future. i enjoyed the first episode for it's promise and attention to training/sparring but was disappointed there in the lack of athleticism and poor quality of conditioning in too many of the fighters. these guy are supposed to be professional fighters on the brink of the big leagues. consider the conditioning and athleticism of fledgling ball players in college on the brink of big league. i thought that suggestion was bad for the sport and am concerned about the amount compromise which has been negotiated on behalf of the ufc in their relation to FSN and spike. i'd like to hear what some of you think of this, i love mma, and many of the fighters in the UFC. i have more to say about this, but will hold off for response.

Well ball players in college don't have to worry about rent/mortgages, putting food on the tables for their families. NHB competitors have to work in their training schedules after putting down hardwood floors.

Or working construction all day..
I didn't like last nights episode. I hated seeing Chris Sanford bitch to Randy Couture about Leben's behaviour. Instead of having guys run to their coaches about misbehaviour, have the guys fight over it.
I didn't like seeing guys be eliminated based on "Survivor-like" activities that really don't have much to do with fighting. I would rather have seen Thacker and Sanford be eliminated through losing a fight.

Thats just a rationalization for trying to find a reason to cut Sanford & Son. Be honest, Couture had his mind made up before the elimination. There was nothing that Sanford coud've said to change Couture's mind. Thacker tried that give me a chance sob story, it didn't work. Sanford said out loud what the whole team was feeling, he knew he was gone, so at least grab the floor and get the truth off your chest.
I agree with your second part though. Notice they truncated 2 shows into one. I'm pretty sure the two challenges were originally intended to be two episodes. As i mentioned in another post, they shoud've let the rest of the guys on Team Couture pick one guy (LHW or MW) to fight Leben. Loser goes home.

LOL...Diego is a tool, he'd be lucky to beat Stephan in his dreams.

If we were playing fantasy booker, I wouldn't have Leben fight anyone until the very end because he's the guy that people want to see get his ass kicked, so it only makes sense to save until the end, and make the audience want it even more, not to mention you keep people tuning in. ;)
