What weight lifting exercises can you recommend for lower back and lower body strength in terms of wrestling takedowns and slams? Thanks in advance!!

Easily the best lower back exercise is some heavy deadlifts. Those really strenghten that area. Also, some back extensions. Squats and power cleans would also be good for explosiveness. Dont neglect the abs though. Hit them hard every other day. Good luck!

Bridge as much as possible. Try to hold it with your nose touching the ground for 2 mins. Balance with front bridge. Deadlifts are good too.

Any power leg movement will help to increase leg strength: squats, leg press--and I would perform them explosively.
Also, I recommend sumo-style deadlifts. (Basically a deadlift with your feet spread far apart). This movement incorporates more hamstring strength into the deadlift along with strengthening your lower back.
