They have been wanting a Mexican top luchador for a spot near the top for awhile and Hector Garza was the chosen until his steroid bust in Houston at the airport. Dusty is now said to be high on Shocker after seeing one of his tv commercials. Heaven forbid he actually watches CMLL or AAA to watch them actually wrestle. Shocker is actually a good choice as he can work but the real heel catch would have been Perro Aguayo Jr. He has really come into his own as a heat machine and heel and he has a more American body style. Perro and Garza fueded for a long time so that would also have worked had Garza not got busted and deported. The problem will be Dusty burying any luchador.
Jarrett really needs to drop the belt--he is 2 years late on dropping it. They need to build up a young homegrown guy (like ROH did with Samoa Joe) instead of messing around with DDP or Nash.

They should put the strap on Monty Brown.

They should put the strap on Monty Brown.I'm going to agree with you. Monty seems to be the choice of those who are tired of Nash, Jarrett, DDP, etc... The complaint is that he is too green, but thats just the way it is. Jarrett is killing the promotion and needs to lay low backstage.

They have been talking about bringing Shocker in for a few years now...he was even advertised before..
Raven should have the belt--he should have got it when he came in.

Raven has heat from management for the match with Dustin. Since Dusty is booking, you know he isn't going to put heat on his boy. Anybody see the match? It was supposed to be bad.

I saw it....how can you have a good match w/ Dustin who who couldn't tell if he should be selling the knee or the ankle...
Terrible match. Not Raven's fault. Although Raven did look very unmotivated.

Isn't nepotism great? Dusty won't blame Dustin no matter what, so that leaves Raven to catch the crap. Dustin is much like Barry Windham in that he burned out and turned to crap at a pretty young age. But, Dustin never was the worker Windham was. There was a time that Barry was pretty good.
