Leben was dominating the fight until it was stoped on cuts. I have always said elbow strikes to the head should be banned. Elbow strikes never end a fight by KO, they only cause cuts. The better fighter lost.

leben couldn't finish a 155lb fighter who's background was self-proclaimed jiu-jitsu. did kenny try anything you'd regard as being jiu-jitsu based? no holding, no trips, limited tie ups. he was a walking punching bag and Leben didn't know what to do with it. Leben is a horrible fighter with no finishing skills. He did look much bigger and stronger for this fight then his fight with Koscheck but he's just not a skilled mma guy. From what i can discern, no one on this show is.
Diego should take his weightclass.

I couldn't believe Kenny was coming in short a lb just au natural while Leben is cutting back from 195. This is professional fighting. These fighters should be better informed about optimizing their size and weight advantages relative to their skill level.

The only thing impressive about leban from that fight was ability to escape that nasty armbar he was in. I thought for sure he was about to get his arm snapped. Other than that Leben was average. He used the same game as he did with kenny. Through haymakers and pray for contact.

I dissagree to a point. Great fighters make it to the top but aren't recognized. In todays world people want hype, they want "stamps" and "heaters" they want shyt talk. You think Mike Tyson sold thousands of tickets because he was a good fighter? Hell no. Tyson couldn't knock out my grandmother while wiping her ass now but I garuntee his trash talking would put fans in the seat. Running a business like the UFC isn't always about great fighters. Its also and almost more about characters and attitudes whether you suck or not.
