View Full Version : I watched the leban Vs. Kflo match again...
I watched that match again and if you watch closely leben doesn't get very good contact with most of the punches he's throwing. At begining of round 2 it looked like Kflo was weathering the storm and waiting for the 3rd round. If that fight made it to round 3 Kflo could have taken leben down and got a submission because leben was gased. Just my opinion.
As for Diego Vs. Josh I watched that take down in slow motion and Josh in 1 swoop connects with a right hand to diego's face. Then hooks the leg, lifts and charges diego right into the fence. If you catch the reply look at diegos face. He seems to be totally shocked by Josh's power. It seem Josh is just one of thoose fighters with great natural strength. If learns to pound he'll be dangerous no doubt about it.

That's to be expected, a college All-American wrestler is gonna be stronger than other athletes/fighters pound for pound usually...if I had to wager on that fight, I'd still bet Diego wins by sub.

I don't think Diego will get a sub on Koscheck tight enough to tap Josh.
Josh is too strong, and Diego has fought guys so far in this comp that he can roll all over. I know he's fought tough guys at KOTC, but the two he has fought and defeated in this comp make me think that he believes he's the best there and no one can come close to him.
Koscheck will suprise him. Koscheck will suprise all of us..

People keep talking about how Diego is like the second comming of God. Can't wait to see peoples reaction if Josh beats him. I guess that would mean Diego is a "can" just liek Leben. I hate Josh but if he puts Leben down and Diego. Probs to him and his college frat boy attitude. Id applaud that.

Diego has been overhyped by everyone here from day 1, koshcheck is going to dominate him, diego beat ground virgins koshcheck has by far the best ground game of any in this competition, he's much too strong for diego easy match, unanimous decision for Josh

koscheck has the best takedowns by far but he has 0 ground game which was evident in his match against leben.......takedowns arent ground game...ground game is subs and positioning....basically leben had his guard whenever he wanted it and koscheck threw weak punches at lebens arms....he hasn't shown any ground skills

Ok there is no doubt Koscheck can take you down but then what is he just going to lay on him like he did with Leben? Do you really think Diego is just going to stay on his back like Leben did i dont think so. I still say Diego wins by sub.
Also in the 2 highlights they show of the fight the second one show diego with a frontface lock. If you watch it in slow mo right when they cut you can see Josh's head through Diego's arm and he is already out of the hold. Yes diego has looked great and Josh has a tough fight to go throug but if Josh is that strong he can power out of a submission. Leben did in the doerkson fight and that armbar was in good.
