Since Just Brian wasn't aware of the wildlife lawsuit, I bet he and others haven't kept up with all the wierdness going on with Hulk Hogan. Hogan is pretty much done in the ring except a special appearance or two. I don't recall how much surgery he has had, but at least one knee has been replaced and maybe a hip too--not recently. He has spent all his time pushing his daughter Brooke to be the next Britney Spears and has used his name to do it. He appears at events if they will let her sing the National Anthem or one of her songs. Definitely a stage dad.

They are doing a reality show about life in the Hogan family and apparently its pretty surreal.

But funniest of all is that his local city council is at war with he and his wife over their menagerie of animals in their home. They even have chickens! His wife went postal during a council meeting and apparently it was a pretty good rasslin style promo. Stop and think about that for a second.....a multi millionaire is warring with city council over chickens. :-D

I also understand that Hogans induction in the WWE Hall of Fame is separate from the others. Not sure why but its probably an ego thing on his part.

Im guessing you missed the latest interview with Hogan.

He recently stated hes about 295lbs now. He also said he feels hes now in great shape, and can beat up any 20 year old.
He then went onto talk about a possible WWE return, and said he doesnt feel he can work a full WWE schedule, but would like to return to a limited schedule. And said its only a matter of time before you see him in a wrestling ring again(the way he said it, maybe hes being flexible where that return is?)
He was asked about wrestling at Mania, and he seemed uncomfortable answering it. He hesitated, but said he would feel uncomfortable coming out for a one time deal, when not under contract. Though the way he said that, makes me feel like I wouldnt be surprised if he actually did make a one time in ring appearance at Mania.

I met the Warrior when I was 11. Hes really a nice guy.

What I really respect about him, is hes not a hypocrite. He has bashed WWE for their wrong doings. And has said he will never return to the WWE.

He also noted that he has been asked if he would appear to ever be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, and he said no. That he feels its more honorable to stay true to his word, and never appear on a WWE TV, or PPV program again. Many remember him for the growling, snorting, rope shaking, running in place crazy SOB he was in the ring, but most dont realize how intelligent he really is, and the fact he speaks his mind, and doesnt feel the need to hide his feelings on anything. That makes him a real man in my opinion.

This right here is proof enough for me you dont know what your talking about. The Warrior has an extremely high IQ. He didnt play the backstage politics the way Hogan did. Warrior basically, if felt they were trying to damage his image and character, would leave, while Hogan made it a point to try and hold others down, many of times. Hogan is notorious for his backstage politics.

I also find it funny how you say how he wouldnt come out of character even out of the ring. I met him, and he was very much out of character, and was the most kind, gernerous, and gracious wrestler I had EVER met, even to this day. And thats says alot since I am in the pro wrestling business.

I still have a copy of it. It was a free one that came with a(it was still WWF at the time obviously) WWF Magazine. I have so many old magazines its not funny. The oldest one I can think of specifically that I have was the 1 hyping the Warrior vs. Hogan in the Champion vs. Champion match at Wrestlemania 6. But I know I have some older than that, just cant think of which ones specifically. Damn Im a pack rat.

LMAO!!!! This has to be the funniest thing I have read. First off, Warrior has condemned WWE. Not simply the wrestling business. But where else would Warrior get a check worth working for now other than WWE? Japan would most not likely wanna use him. He hates WWE, and Vince. When he came back in `98, he came back to WCW for a short angle with Hogan. Thats it.

But what really has me laughing is the fact that you said `98, a year that DX, and nWo ruled, ratings were at their peak, Austin won his 1st WWE world title, DX invaded WCW, the Monday Night Wars were raging on, and I could go on and on.....You said this great year, the business was far worse than it is now? HAAAA!!!! WWE had to turn people away from every show in `98 because they were selling out, while now they have to tarp off sections of arenas at TV taping because they didnt sell enough tickets.

I see no politics. Im simply giving a wrestling history lesson to someone in need. Is it wrong to educate people about wrestling on the pro wrestling forum? LOL.

In all honesty though, when I see someone put down a wrestler I respect, because he showed me so much respect when I met him, Im not gonna sit here and allow it. Im gonna defend him, because he treated his fans with respect, unlike certain egomaniacs in the business today.

I know more about the pro wrestling business than probably almost anyone on this board. And I dont say that to sound cocky, arrogant, or egotistical. Because I dont mean it that way. I say it because the very first thing I EVER took interest in as a child, was pro wrestling. Nobody in my family liked it, which made it all the more strange. It came on TV before I was even old enough to remember, and I was drawn to it. My parents told me it was the only way to calm me down. And as I grew up, I would eat, sleep and breath wrestling. Some kids first became interested in baseball, football, or basketball, and my obsession was wrestling.
I began taping every single wrestling show that was on at the time. And I began ordering tapes of wrestling events that took place before I was born, as well as overseas wrestling. If it was pro wrestling, I wanted to see it. My schedule revolved around wrestling on TV. I was lucky enough to meet some wrestling greats through the years, including Tito Santana, Ted Dibiase, Road Warrior Animal, Davey Boy Smith, THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR, Steve Austin and many many more. My most prized photo is that of Kerry Von Erich holding me on his shoulder when I was 11 years old.

I then began pro wrestling training under a WWF/WWE legend, and have been lucky enough to meet and work with many other big name stars. I feel very lucky to work in the business, and I feel very lucky to have already appeared in WWE Smackdown Magazine last year.

Now if I see someone bashing something that I love like wrestling, and switch around info to fit his views of a wrestler, Im going to correct it, and make sure he knows hes been corrected.
The Warrior may not have had the best in ring skill, but he was a hell of an entertainer, and a hell of a nice guy out of the ring. Meeting him was one of my fondest childhood memories, mainly because he seemed to be as excited to meet me as I was to meet him.
And if you wanna lose this thread because i corrected a slanderous comment, you go ahead. But Im not gonna stand for someone to make comments like the comments made about the Warrior, and let who knows how many people leave this board thinking the Warrior was and is some kind of egotistical idiot out of the ring.
