Hey, guys. My name is Jimin and I'm new to this board, but I'm no stranger to MMA. I've been training in taekwondo since I was five years old and I've started training in a lot of various other martial arts like jiu-jitsu, jeet kune do, and kickboxing over the past year or so. I train on my own time every day by lifting weights, running, cycling, playing basketball, and of course training in various mma styles. Currently, I'm a 19 year old college student at the University of California, Riverside and I really want to become a professional MMA fighter once I graduate. How do I get started in professional fighting and do I have to enroll in a professional MMA school just to go into fighting because I have a lot of skill through independent training and private training sessions with my taekwondo mentor a few years ago? If someone can respond to this, I appreciate it. Thanks.

My best advice would be to get yourself into as many local MMA Fighting events as possible.
