LOL. And to think, Lita was smiling during the "You Screwed Matt" chants. What a heartless whore. I hope WWE is happy. Had they kept Matt, he woulda been the most over star there simply for the fact so many people feel for him. Now they just have to worry about stealing "EDGE SPEARED LITA" signs, and the loud chants. HA HA HA! I hope everyone refrains from buying Lita and Edge merchandise simply so the WWE loses money for their stupidity.

To this day, Hebner gets the "you screwed Brett" chants in Canada. I wonder if fans will hate on Edge and Lita so many years from now? :) The mistake Vince will make is that he will think the hate is good heel heat for Edge. :rolleyes: The WWE deserves every nasty sign, every bad chant, every bad thing that comes their way for their sh*tty decisions and for taking the moral low road at every opportunity. They truly did show total stupidity and lack of decency in the hardy case. I hope the editors have to work their ass off sweetening the crowd mix, hiding signs, etc... on Edge and Litas matches. It would only be better if the crowds would also chant at HHH something like "you protected Edge screwing Matt" :p Be funny to see every match have to be edited to cover up the hate chants and signs.

If you are famous and screw over your woman, its going to be massively ugly when things go public. I had forgotten that Lisa was Edges 2nd wife and I think his first was Val Venus sister. And from interpreting Lisas letter, she feels the need to defend herself as not breaking up Edges first marriage. Seems Edge would be better off single and forgetting making covenents that he has no intention of keeping.

Hebner doesnt even really get those chants anymore, mainly because they dont even have him ref in Canada anymore. LOL. I guess they dont want the ref getting more heat than the heel in the match.

I think this will be similar to HBK-Bret long ago.

People don't forget easily atrocities done, and unlike storylines that end and heels turn to faces and vice versa... this isn't going to go away... at least for the years to come. Right now, Edge can use this heat since he's heel, but when his storyline ends and suppose he turns face, he'll definitely feel it.

I hope I'm making sense here... Edge's career as a face has gone to a screeching halt. He can only be heel now until he signs his resignation.

While I agree with your assessment, I have to think that Vinces ego will make him turn Edge face too soon and cram him down fans throats no matter how much they cat call him.

Cbear, that may happen... but I think it cannot possibly work because unlike the Shawn Michaels incident, Edge will be booed everywhere he goes in America. I think Shawn Michaels character turns heel momentarily when he steps into Canada. Edge, on the other hand, won't be able to wrestle as face anywhere in America.

Good thing I just got dsl down here, now I can make fun of pro wrestling all the time. :) No really though it was cool when I was like 10. Me and my brothers would all watch it until hulk hogan showed up, then we would turn into madmen >-( . Me and my middle brother against my oldest and youngest brothers, it was awesome.I will always have great memories of us smashing eachothers faces into the ground. 1....2....oh I kicked out! 1.........2.........oh I kicked out again! Bam! bam! I got him down now 1.........2........ oh he kicked out! Fake rings and ropes. That would go on usually until we broke something or until my little brother started crying. If you bothered to read the sticky in this forum, it makes it abundantly clear that no hate will be tolerated on this forum toward wrestling or wrestling fans. Hi guys.. first post.. been lurking for awhile now. Wrestling and a MMA fan...yada yada yada...so much for introductions :)

As to the Edge issues..for a while at least I have to agree he will not be able to perform as anything but a heel. Thing is as a wrestler I like edge when he can manage to not be hurt... however I must admit that now as a person I am not to fond of seeing him or Lita on my screen. Personal issues intrude. However I do find myself now going man I hope someone comes out an beats the crap out of him...which is in the end the job of the heel.

I phrased my post wrong. I did like Edge and Christian as a tag team but haven't cared much for eithers characters since. Hard to believe they both debuted in WWE as vampires.

I have always been a Christian fan but I will admit he has never really been over. As I mentioned in another post I think Edge is like Billy Gunn. Without a tag partner he just sucks. Some people are just tagteams like the Dudley Boys. Thos guys couldn't make scrambled eggs without one another.

I agree it is the job of the heel to get heat. But he isn't get heat because he is doing his job well... He is getting heat because of outside reasons. Quite frankly he still sucks at his profession.
