This is a testament to my undying and unconditional love for my wife. Not only that I married her in spite of her atrocious taste in cinema, but the fact that I actually paid hard earned money to take her to this steaming pile of sh!t (knowing full well that it would be) simply because she wanted to see it. It should come as no surprise to anyone with a working pair of eyes that has seen the trailer that this is bar none the dumbest f*cking movie I've ever seen. Amazingly I knew how bad this movie would be, and yet....Jesus f*cking tits Christ this movie is weapons grade retarded. Worse than that it was Friday night, so every piece of mouth breathing, trailer trash, racially challenged minimum wager and import tuner car douchebag put down their coloring books, cashed their government assistance checks and got someone to cover their shift at the Taco Bell, so they could come out in droves to support this garbage. If ever there was a movie theater full of Walmart reject, undesirables deserving of an Aurora style, mass shooting I was sitting in it, packed assholes to elbows with them. A pair of sweaty, fat f*cks ditched their Hoveround scooters out front and waddled on inside only to park themselves behind us, where they proceeded to laugh and talk as if they were sitting in their own living room. Before the opening credits hit the screen I found myself contemplating turning around and jamming my car keys in the woman's throat, but I couldn't decide if her running commentary would actually make the abomination we were about to see better or worse.

As for the movie itself, I checked out on this franchise after the first installment (which was until tonight one of the worst films I've ever had the misfortune to see) so I wasn't completely familiar with every character, but the significance of Hobbs (The Rock) working with Toretto (Vin Diesel) and friends rather than against them didn't escape me. Apparently Hobbs is chasing a crew of car driving meatheads that rivals (if not surpasses) the group of male models and sh!tty rappers in Dominic's crew, so Hobbs enlists the original Fast and Furious to help him wrangle them. In order to convince them to help, Hobbs shows them pictures of the previously deceased, Letty (Michelle Rodriguez), who was once romantically linked to Toretto. Mind numbingly dumb car chases, fights and cheesy dialog ensue with no real clarification of what's at stake. Never mind the ridiculously implausible nonsense the audience is beaten over the head with for what feels like days (cars doing sh!t that cars can't physically do, surly lesbian, Michelle Rodriguez, getting the better of Gina Carano in a fist fight), Fast and Furious 6 features some of the worst acting you'll see in a feature film this year. The fact that they keep pumping these moronic movies out every few months is the only thing keeping Vin Diesel and Paul Walker from working the Orange Julius counter at the mall. It's pretty sad when the best "actor" in the entire movie is a juiced up, professional wrestler (to be fair I actually quite like The Rock and happen to think the guy can legitimately act). This f*cking thing is so retarded that it pissed me off, and aside from my popcorn trying to come back up every time one of these asshats says something stupid like "ride or die" I was generally offended that I was expected to find any of it entertaining. I must be in the minority however, because the dentally challenged dimwits in my theater seemed thoroughly entertained - whooping and hollering and laughing at every dumb joke. The film's finale will go down as the most ridiculously stupid half hour of cinema in the history of movies. These twats are chasing a military cargo plane down what must be a thirty mile long runway, jumping from moving car to car, fighting in, on and around the plane, and apparently every character has some sort of harpoon gun connected to a high tensile cable in their pocket. By the end of this thing the plane is dragging a bunch of import cars behind it, dangling from cables as if the pilots inside were "just married". And just when you think it couldn't get any more retarded......joke's on you.

I thought Jason Statham's movie, Parker, was the dumbest thing I had seen this year, but Fast and Furious 6 makes Parker look like Lawrence of Arabia. And speaking of Statham, if you actually enjoy this stupid sh!t be sure to stay tuned for the obligatory, end credit sequence that sets up the next installment. Could it actually be a mashup between two, retarded franchises? Whatever it is count me out. I'd rather sit in the car with the garage door down until I drift peacefully off to sleep than subject myself to another one of these things. I really wanted to cut loose on this atrocity, but fortunately I've calmed down considerably in the few hours since I've been home.

A featherweight match-up between top ten ranked fighters Dustin Poirier and Erik Koch has been added to the UFC 164 fight card in Milwaukee.

Sources close to the fight confirmed the match-up to MMAWeekly.com on Thursday.

Poirier (13-3) looks to rebound from a loss in his last outing to Cub Swanson at UFC on Fuel TV: Barao vs. McDonald on Feb. 16.

The 24-year-old Poirier was on an impressive five-fight winning streak and on the cusp of a title shot a year ago, but his title aspirations were derailed by Chan Sung Jung in May of 2012. He bounced back from the loss with a win over The Ultimate Fighter 12 winner Jonathan Brookins in December, prior to the loss to Swanson.

Koch (13-2) was on a similar path to a title shot, riding a four-fight winning streak before losing to Ricardo Lamas at UFC on Fox 6 on Jan. 26.

The pair of 24-year-olds are the third confirmed bout on the UFC 164 fight card. Fellow featherweights Chad Mendes and Clay Guida will face off, while heavyweights Brandon Vera and Ben Rothwell are also confirmed for the event.

UFC 164 takes place on Aug. 31 at the HMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee.

A twisted story. And the culprits praised their god after doing the deed in broad daylight. Sick ****.

'An eye for an eye': British soldier beheaded, killed in barbaric machete attack

A man believed to be soldier has been beheaded in a barbaric attack by two men on a street outside Woolwich army barracks in South East London. In the shocking scene, one the killers addressed witnesses saying "you will never be safe."

Two black men who appear to be aged in their mid-20s attacked a man who appeared to be dressed as an Army cadet, according French President Francois Hollande and Military Police Nick Raynsford, speaking to the BBC. Shocking footage recorded by witnesses and made public by ITV shows a man holding a meat cleaver with blood on his hands using jihadist rhetoric to justify the violence.

“We swear by almighty Allah we will never stop fighting you,” the attacker says, as the body of the victim lies just yards away. “The only reason we have done this is because Muslims are dying every day. This British soldier is an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.”

Other witnesses can be seen in the background, transfixed in a helpless gaze. One person described seeing a “beheading,” while another said the victim was wearing a “Help for Heroes” shirt advocating a UK military charity.

British Prime Minister told reporters there are “strong indications that this is a terrorist incident,” adding that the UK would “never buckle” to such heinous violence.

A witness, known only as James, told LBC radio in London the two men then dragged the victim into the street while brandishing guns. Reports indicate the perpetrators did not try to flee, instead waiting for police to arrive and asking pedestrians to take pictures of them “as if they wanted to be on TV or something.”

Prime Minister David Cameron confirmed that he had asked the Home Secretary Theresa May to chair a meeting of Cobra, the government’s emergency committee and that she had requested updates from MI5 and the Metropolitan Police and the government were treating the incident as suspected terrorist attack.

The Defense Secretary Phillip Hammond and the Mayor of London Boris Johnson have also arrived at the Cobra meeting.

The meeting lasted just under an hour and heard that security has been tightened at Woolwich barracks and increased at all London barracks, Downing Street said, the Mirror reports.

Roy Ramm, a former Scotland Yard commander of specialist operations, told the BBC News Channel that the police will be looking into the background of the two men in custody to try and determine if they were part of an organized network or acting alone.

The mayor of London Boris Johnson said that security has been stepped up at military installations across the country and that London's "incredibly resilient" communities had been here before and would pull together.
Guida (30-13) pulled out of the original Mendes matchup with an injury. "The Carpenter", who has been involved in several memorable wars at 155 lbs, has come under scrutiny recently by fans and Dana White for his poor, lackluster fights against Hatsu Hioki and Gray Maynard. The fight with Maynard hit a low point when Guida was warned for timidity after "fighting from a distance" was re-defined as "the parking lot". Guida lost the Maynard bout but did win a somewhat controversial split decision over Hioki in his FW debut.

Mendes (14-1) has knocked out his last 3 opponents (Cody McKenzie, Yaotzin Meza, and Darren Elkins) in a combined 3:34. The featherweight contender's only defeat was a KO loss to Jose Aldo at UFC 142, and he's obviously been on a tear since then. Before the McKenzie win, Mendes hadn't won by KO or TKO since stopping Steven Siler on a Tachi Palace Fights show in 2009. Clay Guida has never been knocked out or even stopped by cuts, but the two times Guida was finished in the UFC came by submission after he was badly hurt by strikes.

With the loss of UFC 161's planned headliner between Renan Barao (30-1 MMA, 5-0 UFC) and Eddie Wineland (20-8-1 MMA, 2-2 UFC), Ultimate Fighting Championship officials looked to add some firepower to the event's lineup. Roy Nelson (19-7 MMA, 6-3 UFC) and Stipe Miocic (9-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) answered the call.

USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) today confirmed with UFC President Dana White that Nelson and Miocic have agreed to meet on the main card of the event, which takes place June 15 at MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Rashad Evans (17-3-1 MMA, 12-3-1 UFC) vs. Dan Henderson (29-9 MMA, 6-3 UFC) now headlines the card.

The planned main event was scratched when Barao suffered torn ligaments in his foot. UFC officials are currently seeking another opponent for Wineland, and if one is secured, the event will feature six fights on the evening's pay-per-view card instead of the traditional five contests.

Nelson, the No. 8-ranked heavyweight in the USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie.com Rankings, enters the fight with an impressive three-fight win streak that includes three first-round knockouts over Cheick Kongo, Matt Mitrione and Dave Herman. The win streak is Nelson's longest since 2008 and has "Big Country" knocking on the door of title contention.

Meanwhile, Miocic recently cracked the USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie.com Rankings' top-15 list. The 30-year-old Ohio native opened his career with nine straight wins, including three UFC victories. He fought most recently in the main event of this past September's "UFC on FUEL TV 5: Struve vs. Miocic" event, where he suffered a TKO loss to Stefan Struve.

Miocic had been expected to face Australian heavyweight Soa Palelei (18-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC), who is now left without an opponent. Palelei will now serve as a backup opponent should any injuries disrupt UFC 161's heavyweight bouts of Nelson vs. Miocic or Pat Barry vs. Shawn Jordan.

Heavyweight Josh Barnett (32-6 MMA, 4-1 UFC) is an Ultimate Fighting Championship competitor once more.

USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) today confirmed with promotion officials that former UFC heavyweight champion Barnett has signed a new multi-fight deal with the promotion and is expected to make his return to the octagon later this year. An official announcement is expected soon.

Barnett is currently ranked No. 6 in the USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie.com rankings and was considered the world's most-talented free-agent heavyweight. His return date and opponent have yet to be determined.

Barnett has been fighting professionally since 1997 and made his promotional debut in 2000 with a TKO victory over Gan McGee at UFC 28. He would suffer a knockout loss to Pedro Rizzo in his next appearance before rattling off victories over Semmy Schilt, Bobby Hoffman and UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture. The win over Couture scored Barnett the UFC's heavyweight title, though he was later stripped of the belt in 2002 after failing the evening's post-fight drug test.

Barnett spent much of the next six years fighting in Japan, where in 2006 he made it to the finals of that year's PRIDE open weight grand prix before losing to Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic.

In 2008, Barnett returned to the U.S., where he earned victories over Gilbert Yvel in Rizzo under the Affliction banner before that promotion folded up shop. He would later sign with Strikeforce, where he advanced to the promotion's heavyweight grand prix final before falling short against undefeated contender Daniel Cormier. Barnett bounced back with a January win over Nandor Guelmino in Strikeforce's final event.

Earlier this year, Barnett and the UFC appeared close to signing a deal, but the talks stagnated and talks briefly dissolved. However, the two parties have now reached an agreement, and "The Warmaster" is now set for an octagon return.
