Plixid is just an RS link site that aims to upload every single album in every single genre possible. It's really useful, but it requires a dedication of time to really get the most out of it.

Pandora reminded me that everything Ive ever heard from the Bottle Rockets I liked so I bought pretty much their entire catalog thats available. These guys are alot more melodic with catchy lyrics than Wilco or Son Volt. More concise in wordplan than Jay Farrar thats for sure. My favorite "new" band.

    The Brooklyn Side
    Zoysia
    Brand New Year
    24 Hours a Day
    Blue Sky
    Lean Foreward
Not so Loud: An Acoustic Evening with the Bottle Rockets

Ill probably go back and pickup the Doug Sahm tribute cd too.

Happy Happy with these guys music and a best of playlist is definitely on my list to put together this weekend.

^^^ Hey you're only about 20 years late finding these guys :-) I haven't bought any of their newer stuff but the old stuff is great. Brian Henneman use to be a roadie/guitar tech/member of Uncle Tupelo (Farrar/Tweedy's old group). One of my favorite songs "Indianapolis" is an autobiographical account of the Uncle Tupelo tour van breaking down in Indy. Brian also played lead guitar on Wilco's first album AM.
He's got a heart as big as Tito's f*cking head.

I LOVE when I "discover" old stuff and buy the whole catalog. Ive heard of them a d a song or two but then you hear the "right" song and go **** yeah!!! I really love when that happens.

These guys are great, I cant get kit kat clock or nancy sinatra out of my head. Gravity Fails is awesome.
