I have the same problem with my right knee after a week of hard training it hurts. I had to keep my right leg extended at my desk on Friday it was so bad...

My recommendation would be to stretch it a couple of times a day and do light weight training for your legs to build up some strength...I think I focus so much on strength from my waist up that my legs aren't strong enough to support running every morning and training every night...just a thought...good luck with it I know how much knee pain sucks

I have the same problem. Invest in a good pair of running shoes (Nikes, Addidas, etc.). You should also check what kind of surface you're running on. Concrete is the worst surface since it doesn't bend as much as other surfaces like asphalt, dirt, or grass. Lastly, check the your running form. Over or under pronating could hurt the knees.
