    Much better.

On a side note, I managed to tear a ligament in my ankle (in a non-Judo, possibly alcohol related incident) about a month ago, so no training for me for at least another week or two. Kinda sucks a lot.

Thought I'd update the thread. Two weeks ago I got my black belt. Had been an ikkyu for nearly four years. Worried I'd be one of those perpetual brown belts.

Congrats mate - great achievement. I haven't been back to Judo since I got mine in August (been super busy with new baby and new job) but found a couple of schools closer to home I am gonna check this month. Looking forward to getting my bum kicked all over again.

    Are you still competing regularly?
RIP Cam - you will be sorely missed

Congrats, Telerion. That's great to hear.

I've been training for about a year now, but with my rate of progression I'm more worried about being a perpetual green belt.

Congrats Nothing more annoying than a brown belt who won't put in the time or effort to finish what he started. Now get ready to feel it all over again on the road to Nidan

Satoshi Ishii is registered for the US Senior National Championships next weekend in VA Beach. I know a few people from my club are making the drive down. Unfortunately, I'll be skipping this one.

You should go. As lazy a sack of sh*t that ishii is in mma, his talent in judo is undeniable
