I know there are a few people on here that I genuinely like and would feel bad if something were to happen to them. Cam was one of those people, his death brought me to tears when I read about it and I still feel a sadness when I think about him not being here anymore.
awwwww. i feel the same about you fatty.

There is a comaraderie here-not a click-and its always been that way. Rare for the internetz.

Happy New Year to Cam and to all.

Hey guys. I was the last person Cameron messaged on here before he passed. Him and I had a lot in common. I haven't been to these forums in literally years, but all of your names quickly come back to me. This is a very tight nit group which is cool. Wish there was more traffic/discussion, but it's cool to see the same guys from years ago still posting.

Cam and I both were from Tx. We both loved Hip hop. And of course, we both loved mma. We'd discuss lots of new hip hop through messaging here and like most of you, despite never meeting him in person, years later I still get genuinely sad when remembering him via this thread. I remember I was a little shocked at the time of his death finding out he was just 21. I was 28 at the time and I was amazed/surprised of how much we connected despite the 7yrs age gap. Usually as you get older that gap isn't significant, but he had a good head on his shoulders and was very well liked.

Whatever happened to the cameron brown bjj memorial website? It truly was unique, it was dedicated to him and it was a lineage tree of all the blackbelts, who they got their black belt from, who they got theres from, and so on and so on until it came down to carlson gracie and Maeda. Nm I found it- http://www.bjjtree.com/ looks like it hasn't been updated as you can't scroll down.

Anyways, Cam was a great dude and still missed to this day, even by people who never even met him in real life. That says a lot about the type of person he was and impact he left.

Definitely was one of the members that everybody liked having around and was a huge loss.

Bruce who did the website no longer posts on here but we will all remember both of them, good people.

It pains me that these Russian spammers would pollute Cammys thread.

It certainly pisses me off everytime I see some gibberish for a poster name in the most recent post for this thread.

Believe me, everyone is working nonstop on the spammers. The new mods are doing a great job.
