    No, I was serious. That Candelmass song is really good, but it's;

    1. Metal. I didn't think you were into metal, particularly the Doom variety.

    and

    2. I also dig that track. You and I don't always see eye to eye musically. *** Cough, Ace Frehley, Cough.***

    The instrumentals in the song are among the best they've done IMO. I love the heavy beat and I like the lyrics. I don't find the chorus to that much more repetitive than so many other of their choruses. I also love the structure of the song, the long build up for the excellent solos and the great riffs at the end.

    Out of curiosity what are your favorite Maiden songs?

    I prefer Dianno to Dickinson but Maiden released a ton of great music with both singers. That said, their first three studio albums are my favorites. Picking favorite songs is tougher but I'll give it a go.

    Favorite Dianno era Maiden songs;

    Murders in the Rue Morgue

    Prowler
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owMmFXOL31E

    Killers

    Favorite Dickinson era maiden songs;

    Hallowed be thy Name
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G3YhkvbUjB4

    The Number of the Beast
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jsmcDLDw9iw

    Sun and Steel

    Picking 3 favorite Maiden songs (even 3 per Dianno/Dickinson era) is really not possible as there are at least a half dozen songs from each era I like equally as the ones I posted.
