Can't believe they tried to sell Vince getting hurt with the X to the officials in back

yeah they are trying to work the smarks. Since fans caught on to the X as a legit injury, pretty much all the promotions have been using it to sell angles. So, what is the new legit signal?

Funny how Lawler said Vader looked the same as the last time we saw him with WWE. You're right, Cbear, his gut was enormous. He's what, 54 or something? But he was having a blast in the ring.

I loved the line from Cena about Big Show blaming everyone and everything and how he's going to blame McDonalds next for selling Chicken McNuggets.

However, didn't like the closing segment. Cena's initial punches against Big Show missed and the short blows looked weak/fake. Then he ducked waaaay too soon on the big shot from Show that supposedly KO'd McMahon.

I really liked him back in the day. His work was stiff as hell, especially in Japan and WCW. WCW once brought him and Stan Hansen to do one of their puro style strong matches and it was brutal as hell as they beat each other up. Vader once broke a jobbers back in WCW with the power bomb. And of course he got his own eye popped out in Japan during a match (on youtube). I really liked when he used to wear the monster head thing.

didnt see the show,but from what Ive read it sounds awful.2 ppv's Im skipping.TNA on the other hand is firing on all cylinders.Its a bizarro world of wrestling currently.
I have the show DVR'd,so I have to hear if Vince really said that a guy (big show) who is in your main event on Sunday hasnt been good since 1999.Talk about burying your own product.

I don't understand the need to work the smarks. They've been around for a long time in wrestling and likely know it's an angle. What's the use?

Its one of Vinces quirks. He has been known to change finishes and entire storylines due to online fans figuring it out or even just guessing correctly where the storyline was going. That lunacy in that is that smarks are essentially what we hardcore net mma fans are and we are about 10% of the total viewers--and changing plans when only 10% are clued in is ignorant. But, Vince has done it. Whats so bizarre is that Vince broke kayfabe years ago and yet gets pissed when fans find out what his booking is going to be.

That is totally bizarre... in the age of the information, people can get a ton of leaks when they look for it. It seems like an exercise of futility to do anything about this. They should just focus on giving a good show.
