It ends with 40 fights I think. The last fight is a unification bout, I think.

yup, just found out. i must say, the game play is pretty darn good and fun. but i must say the career mode is lame in the sense that i got to fight one name fighter in king mo. good thing i rented this from blockbuster. i'm thinking of renting vanquish. heard it got some great reviews.

It's one thing I loved about EA MMA, is that I didn't fight very many named people. I liked making my own rivalries with the likes of "The Strawberry Ape" and things like that. I think it would be nice if they let you choose if you want the real name fighters in the mix or not next year.

The game is fun as hell. I have every career spot taken up with fighters 39-0 and one of them 38-1. Game is a lot of fun and I still play it regularly. Probably will put it on the backburner when Fight Night hits in March though.

what level did u play it at??? i thought it was way too easy to tap out your opponents. striking on the other hand was just little challenging and more interesting.

    I played it on medium.

The reason I never went any higher is because of the ridiculous garbage of the AI to parry your strikes. They are f*cking psychic and it's simply not even close to being fair when you land less than 10% of your stikes because everything you throw is either caught by them, blocked, swayed, or parried. So I put it on medium, because even medium has them doing that to a ridiculous degree, but it's manageable.

I can't imagine how hard the other difficulties are. I agree about the ease of tapping them out. It's pretty simple with a good submission expert, they pretty much don't have a chance, ESPECIALLY limb lock submissions. Chokes are a lot more fun, but the armbars/etc are far too easy to win.

Great first effort though, I've certainly got my money's worth out of it.
