I'm excited for 2nd season but its been so damn long I've got to go back and watch last season finale to remember what happened.
Hopefully we can get an ongoing thread because this is one of those shows that can have a lot said about plot direction.

doh!!!! i tend not to always look at the date.

Well my second point was right. Anyway got this recording, be watching last season finale plus the two from tonight looking forward to it.

Killing seemed to get a lot of hate in the media towards the end of season, but eff that i still like it.

Ya almost up until the season finale the reviews and the critics were praising it like crazy. Then there was an outcry because the season ended without the viewers finding out who the killer was and everybody turned on the show. Maybe I am one of the only ones, but I wasn't too surprised/disheartened at that because once the killer is revealed the show is either over or takes a whole new direction without the mystery.

However, I don't see how they could go a whole second season without revealing the killer, so I am curious to see where it goes from here.

They started to kill it towards end of season and then when they pulled what they did at the end everyone went nuclear.

Anyway the Killing was tremendous last night. I had some reservations of them pretty much starting over but damn I am all in after those two hours.

Really do feel bad for Stan. Yeah he beat the living hell outta the teacher, but his wife kinda strong armed him into that. But loses his daughter, his wife goes crazy bitch, and then leaves. And now loses his best friend.

Obviously the killer is going to identified till end of this season, but they better make clues add up through the last episodes and not just thrown him/her out there in the last ep.

I hope people watch this. Great actors, would like a season 3.

Agree. It seems to be taking a turn away from your average murder case towards more of a conspiracy plot coming from all angles. There's the issue of Rosie possibly messing around with the wrong crowd (as an escort), the police corruption, the political motivations to frame the candidate, and the coming attractions looked interesting with Stan talking to his old mob connections.

Ya, I feel bad for Stan but Richmond really got the short end of the stick lol. Wrongfully accused, derailed campaign, then shot and paralyzed. I realize that like he said if a suicide attempt got out it would ruin his career, but when the alternative is going to jail for murder he should have just told the detective he went for a swim near the bridge because it was his dead wife's anniversary.

On another note, if I was Stan I would definitely start banging the wife's sister.

They really F'ed up the end of S1, but they seem to be back on track again with this new season. I still say there are way too many Twin Peaks references though.
