Is it just me or does Mr. Ariel Helwani look like he's in severe pain when he tries(?) to smile during interviews on Fuel/Fox/FX?

You mean like the video of Roger Huerta beating up that jackass outside of club? That was awesome. Especially considering that dude had to have 80lbs on Huerta.

So I'm watching Sports Reporters. And they are talking about Manny P fight, and I guess it was a controversial loss decision. Anyway one of the reporters talks about how at least in MMA you have Dana White as the central figure who can run the ship and try to take care or some bs, where as in boxing there is no central and shady stuff happens. AND THEN YOU GET Bill Rhoden, with this comment, I'll take that over MMA any day of the week they have rules, MMA is just barbaric.

I f'n hate when idiots talk about what they don't know. last time I checked in boxing you are trying to beat the hell outta the guy. Boxers bleed all the time.

How have the rules helped out Ali's quality of life. N E One seen Evander Holyfield recently!!!!????

Dammit, the start of this post sounded like it was going to be all praise for MMA over boxing then it took a turn for the worse. Anyway if it makes you feel better ever since last night's debacle I have read some other boxing forums and there is whole bunch of posts saying things like "MMA here I come" etc. Even though it's the same athletic commission and all, many boxing fans I have seen are mimicking the stance taken by the reporter. So I think the fans are smarter than this dumbass, but as for the general public, who knows, and either way it's an ignorant thing to say.

Yeah and I'm not even really trying argue MMA over Boxing. But tired of idiots, that I'm sure dont' even watch and know anything about a sport put it down like that. And its comical to kill one sport when the other is essentially two guys beating each other, whether in a tecnical fight or all out slugfest.

    - California state althletic commission might be going broke.
    - AB2100, the fighers rights bill appears to be dead for now.

    END COMMUNICATION

Very interesting. Cali might be too broke to allow fights going forward.

Damn, jmose, I swear Dana White is morphing into your Pilkington avatar. It's getting harder and harder to tell them apart...
