With Dana it seems to be as much about how the fighter / offender handles himself when confronted with the **** up. If Nate responds with a 'yeah, I ****ed up. I should not have used that word', is convincingly apologetic, volunteers for some charity stuff, he will just be fined and disciplined.

If Nate responds with 'yeah, I fuxking said what I meant! 209 what what hommie! What are you going to do about it', then Nate gets cut.

    END COMMUNICATION

I don't think Nate gets cut either way. Dana is just pissed and is going to use his strongest language and harshest threats right now. The whole reason for the Pat Healy holocaust is that the UFC management is getting sick of the bull****, and to a certain extent I can sympathize. Despite Dana and the UFC being one of the most open-minded sports franchises, their employees keep making stupid mistakes, and the fact of how avoidable they are tends to amplify the frustration.

Incidents such as arrests for foolish human mistakes are going to happen, and things of that nature will always be an annoyance for the UFC or any employer in a similar situation. However, though there aren't a tidal wave of incidents to point out, recently there has been a perceived increase in guys doing stupid and easily avoidable things which negatively impact the UFC just as much if not greater. Positive marijuana tests are almost becoming a norm for events, and despite the new code of conduct, as well as the increased media training all fighters receive, guys are still mouthing off in interviews and on twitter.

This is enough to drive any employer mad. You take all the preventative measures you can think of to discourage these things, along with being sympathetic and at the same time ratcheting up the punishments, yet nothing seems to work. It's no surprise that they dropped the hammer on Healy, and that Dana is issuing such harsh possibilities for Nate.

Former UFC competitor Paul Kelly has been convicted on heroin trafficking charges in his home country of England, according to a report from the Liverpool Echo.
Kelly was taken into custody following the verdict and will face sentencing next month.

I find it hilarious Joe Rogan can smoke and joke about whatever he wants and no one says a Damn thing. He's employed by the same organization as all these fighters.

Joe doesn't have dealings with the NSAC. That's the primary difference here
